Yshal was a Nautolan who lived during the third Galactic War. A former Jedi Padawan, Yshal was banished from the Jedi Order and forged a new path on Nar Shaddaa.[1] Around 3623 BBY,[2] Teenu stumbled across a message sent by Yshal quite some time ago and asked the Alliance Commander to locate Yshal on Nar Shaddaa and inform him that he could contact his master whenever he needed help.[1]

Yshal first appeared in the March 2024 Game Update 7.4.1 of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith, the eighth digital expansion to the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[3]
