"Youngee Wim (Bunky Dunko)" is a modified version of Peter Schilling's 1983 song "Major Tom (Coming Home)" written in the Huttese language.[4] The song was used in the second official trailer for the 2024 series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew released on November 1, 2024,[5] and later received a full lyric video was released on December 4 on Youtube.[1] It was translated with help by Leland Chee and Pablo Hidalgo and performed by David W. Collins and Matthew Wood.[4]
The following day, on December 5 the Star Wars social media team shared an image listing "Youngee Wim" as the top five artist and "Bunky Dunko" for a fictional music site "Skullify", after the real world music streaming service Spotify. The post also listed the genre of the song as "Huttese New Wave."[3] Wood and Collins originally recorded only the parts used in the trailer—which they did within 24 hours—and after it's positive reception recorded an expanded edition.[4]
