Yavid was a Human male and cousin of Markl who lived on Lanteeb during the Clone Wars. Sometime before the war, he and his cousin left the planet and eventually found work on Alderaan, where they worked in forestry. In 21 BBY, they accompanied Senator Bail Prestor Organa and Agent Varrak on a mission to Lanteeb. There, they managed to create false identities for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. After assisting the Jedi, they returned to Alderaan.
