Yanne was Kueller's assistant after Femon who was chosen because he expressed his opinion even if it was not in sync with Kueller's.[1] After Kueller's death in 17 ABY, Yanne assumed control of Almania and opened talks with the New Republic. However, he was soon overthrown by Gant,[3] an assistant Kueller had trained to replace Yanne.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Essential Chronology calls him "Yane." Star Wars Encyclopedia and The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia refer to him as "Yanee."
