The YV-929 light freighter was a variant of the YV-929 armed freighter.
Characteristics
Despite having a noticeably lighter armament than the armed freighter model, it retained enough firepower to arouse suspicions among military patrols and customs inspectors in the Core Worlds. However those same weapons made it very popular in the Outer Rim Territories. Also many mercenary units favored it, often modifying the vessels to increase their weapon loadouts.[1]
