The YI-5 Surveillance/Interrogation droid was a droid shaped approximately like a remote, with a hovering, approximately spherical body. In addition to conducting interrogation semi-autonomously, a YI-5 droid could track down a subject in the manner of a seeker. Such droids were fitted with stealth fields that enabled them to blend in with the approximate color of their surroundings.[1]
This type of droid was commonly employed by the ISB during the days of the Galactic Empire.[1]
