X2-C3 Imperial astromechs was a line of highly versatile astromech droid for the Sith Empire. They employed an advanced sensor array and had impressive analytical abilities. Because of their flexibility and efficiency—including on the battlefield, where they made use of standard droid blaster attachments as well as a variety of specialized armaments—they were found on practically every Imperial military installation and ship.

Behind the scenes

The X2-C3 Imperial astromech was first introduced in a holonet article for the Star Wars: The Old Republic video game. It bears a striking resemblance to R4-series agromech droids.
