The Wrodi system was located in the Outer Rim Territories' Meerian sector.[1] The Wrodi system was the origin point of[3] the rugs known as Wrodian carpets.[4]

Behind the scenes

The "Wrode system,"[5] in reference to Wrodian carpets,[6] was first mentioned in "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder Where We Are," a 1990 roleplaying game source article written by Glen Allison as a supplement for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and published in the thirteenth issue of the Voyages SF magazine. Since the article, which placed the star system in the Zebitrope sector, was released outside of the Lucas Licensing process,[5] it is considered non-canonical with respect to the Star Wars Legends continuity.[7]

The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, named the system "Wrodi" and placed it in grid square O-6,[2] and the StarWars.com Online Companion to the book subsequently overrode the Voyages SF 13 placement by establishing that the Wrodi system was part of the Meerian sector.[1]
