The Wornal sector was a sector located in the Mid Rim, neighboring the Sombure sector.
History
During the Clone Wars, the Wornal sector was located in Republic Space, but Bomis Koori IV was one of the last Separatist stronghold.[3]
Under the Galactic Empire, the Wornal sector was controlled by Moff Eyrgen. After the substantial defeat of the Galactic Empire at the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, Eyrgen formed his own empire in the region.
Just some months later, he was defeated by Moff Utoxx Prentioch of the Sombure sector and the Wornal sector was integrated in Prentioch's Dominion.[3]
The Wornal sector was liberated by the New Republic when Prentioch was defeated in 6 ABY.[3]
The sector was spared during the Yuuzhan Vong War.[3]
