The following is a list of precedents or policies to be mindful of when writing an article relating to WP:Resistance.
Lessons Learned
- Make sure the word "channel" is used when referring to the "StarWars YouTube channel." Channel is often mistakenly left out.
- Use the following for sourcing episode airdates, episode number*, and season number: {{DisneyPress|wdtv=1|url=disneychannel/shows/star-wars-resistance/episodes|text=Star Wars Resistance}}[1]
- *Episodes 13 to 21 of Season One—"Dangerous Business," "The Doza Dilemma," "The First Order Occupation," "The New Trooper," "The Core Problem," "The Disappeared," "Descent," "No Escape: Part 1," and "No Escape: Part 2"—must use {{InsiderCite|190|Resistance Revisited|''Resistance'' Revisited}} for their episode number.
- Refer to the series as an "animated television series." Animated is often mistakenly left out.
- Per precedence, ships need a source for their names. For instance, any mention of the Thunderer should be sourced to Star Wars: Battles that Changed the Galaxy, Star Wars: Timelines, or Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy.
- Subjects that premier during a two-part episode, should denote the relevant part.[2]
- A source is not needed to identify the Colossus as a supertanker fuel depot, similarly to a source not needing to identify the Black One as an X-wing starfighter.
- Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy is your best friend when needing a source for random little things, like ship names, Kazuda Xiono being a spy, pronouns, etc.

Sourcing
If the image is pulled from outside the episode, the source should be listed first and accompanied by the episode the image would naturally appear in. Do not list any more sources other than the real source and the episode.[3]
Editing
- If you image has had its background removed, "Background removed" should be placed.
- If the image originates from a comic and the speech bubbles have been edited, "Text bubbles blanked" should be placed.
Audio files
- Names should be in UpperCamelCase.
- Typically we should name the file "Subject-Source"
- "Subject-EpisodeName"
