Time (talk - history - links - logs)

Do we really need articles about generic concepts?

Keep

  1. Time is different from "love" since it is a fundamental element within physics. We have articles that link to this because it is canonical when refered to by the Galactic Standard Calendar, time travel, and when there are several measurements of time different from ours. This is not hyperinclusionist fanwankery mind you but rather a page to link to regarding the overall concept. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:32, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
  2. Keep. I envision it as a glorified disambig with a brief intro and then links to Time travel, Flow walking, the various calendar articles, etc. Basically to make all those topics easily findable from one spot.--Valin Kenobi 20:56, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
  3. Should be a nice glorified redirect to time issues that wouldn't hurt anyone. Havac 03:43, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
  4. Per Riff. Adamwankenobi 03:53, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
  5. Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so. All the same, I vote Keep, per Valin. —Gonk (Gonk!) 13:21, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
  6. My idiosyncratic standards tell me "keep". —Silly Dan (talk) 23:40, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
  7. Could use a few rewrites here & there, but yeah, keep Enochf 00:04, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
  8. The love article was also just some anonymous newb writing a first-person exposition on Padme and Anakin. Kuralyov 04:11, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
  9. Keep due to relevance to something very silly called flow walking. KEJ 23:14, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

  2. Dump this article out an airlock. Preferably in the vacinity of the Maw. The Galactic Standard Calendar adequately addresses the different time measurements between Star Wars and real life, and this article actually doesn't do that. It seems to serve no usefull purpose. Comments

  • If this is kept...what's supposed to be done with the "appearances" list? Last I checked, "time" has been in literally every Star Wars story. Red XIV 06:29, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Only mention it where it's called out specifically or in some notable way, or when it factors into the plot.--Valin Kenobi 06:39, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
