Revan's robes

There's nothing in this stub that the Revan article doesn't contain. That, and I really can't see this topic warranting its own article. --Imp 16:59, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Not enough information for a full article. The only reason we should have an article on a character's outfit is if a lot has been written about it in official sources. This isn't the case with Darth Vader's armor and arguably Boba Fett's outfit, which could be separate articles. But all we know about Revan's armor is it (a) was worn by Revan and (b) looked cool. — Silly Dan 00:03, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
  • Before any of you say anthing, just because i wrote the article doesn't mean i'm goin rip threaten anyone to keep it up. It is a key article for several reasons;
  1. — It was these robes that kept Revan's identity secret from the entire galaxy at the time of the conflict.
  2. — The robes certainly are important if the Star Forge sees fit so as to rebuild them once Revan returns to the Star Forge to confront Malak.
  3. — As Silly Dan just said, if we delete this article we might as well just delete Vader's armour, and Boba Fett's while we're at it. There isn't alot about that in "official sources". Jasca Ducato 17:33, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
    • That's not what I said (at least, not what I meant.) I said that Boba Fett and Darth Vader's respective armors have a lot of information on them (pages in visual dictionaries, RPG stats, etc.), whereas Revan's armor has a lot less information. As I said above, not enough information for a full article.— Silly Dan 05:05, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
  • I'm still only partway through KotOR 1, but it looks like the article's information is wrong. According to this, the robes were created by the Star Forge and focused Dark Side powers. That would indicate more notability than than is evident in the current article. -LtNOWIS 03:03, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
  • I noticed that too. If you are playing as as LS Revan you get a completely different robe than the canonical. This leads me to believe that Revan gets it after he finds the Forge. The only thing i can think of to counter it is in KOTOR2 the Jedi exile recognises the armour (remember he/she wasn't with Revan at the Forge)Phillowe88 03:30, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
    • Actually LtNOWIS i believe that to be an error on the half of the article writers that has been revealed to be an error. The first "dream" the memory-wiped Revan has is of Revan and Malak, on Dantooine in the Rakata Temple. I belive that when they found the Star Forge, the Star Forge scanned him and was able to create a near perfect copy of his clothing, as is evident if the DS ending is chosen.   • My two cents is that I believe that the question as to the origin of Revan's robes is still left unanswered in Revan's main article. A more in depth explanation about this "un-Jedi like" clothing should be answered or at least debated somewhere. Why not this article? Maphisto86 23:25, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
