What?
- I really don't think we should put Fanon articles on VFD, if we do that, that the VFD list will become very long. Fanon should just be tagged for speedy deletion (unless i'm mistaken, that's what the speedy tags were made for in the first place) The Admins have always deleted fanon without bothering with VFDs 70.17.130.192 00:42, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

- Well, apparently not all Admins are aware of that "Attempt to clarify template usage", as you can see at: Deletion Log The deleteion log shows many articles that the Admins have deleted becuase they were fanon, and taged for speedy deletion, see examples like (copied from the deletion log):
- See Forum:Attempt to clarify template usage. RMF 02:36, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- 20:41, 6 April 2006 QuentinGeorge deleted "Learsi Jerjerrod" (content was: '{nonsense}')
- 07:12, 6 April 2006 Sikon deleted "Ben morey" (content was: '{nonsense}Ben moreyBen Morey was born on kashyyyk. He can now speak fluint sheriwook')
- 23:17, 5 April 2006 Riffsyphon1024 deleted "Ralph watkilia" (fanon)
- 23:17, 5 April 2006 Riffsyphon1024 deleted "Path to Vengeance" (content was: '{deletebecause|fanon}{fanon}The story of Liam after the raid on the Jedi Temple. The author didnt realize that he was Liam was killed by Anakin ...')
In each of those examples, an Admin deleted an article becuase it was fanon, and taged with a speedy deletion tag. And those are just a few examples. So it appears that even the Admins don't bother with VFDs for fanon. 70.17.130.192 03:10, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hey i didnt do it.--Bobafett122005 00:46, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- The fanonicity of this article isn't that obvious. And in any case this article is too long for CSD. - Sikon [Talk] 04:43, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- I gotta agree with seven-oh-point-oh-etc. on this one, Sikon. Article quality is low, fanonicity is nothing short of mindblowingly obvious, and Google returns zero hits for this search: "Jade Shikan" OR "Shikan, Jade". Just because its long doesn't mean it's good, and I'll bet dollars to donuts that this is copied straight from an RPG site.--Erl 18:39, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
