Inconsistencies with Star Wars Canon in Battlefront series (talk - history - links - logs)

To put it bluntly, this article is complete and utter bollocks. The vast majority of so-called "inconsistencies" are nothing more than game mechanics designed to make the game both balanced (CIS vehicles needing drivers) and playable (not needing to climb up a huge crane with all your mates just to drive an AT-AT around). The rest are mostly either bugs (an anti-Imperial trooper having 501st Legion markings), laziness on the behalf of the developers (diagrams from the Jedi Archives showing up on computer screens in the Polis Massa level) or just plain non-canon (Jango Fett appearing in Clone Wars battles). With all those removed, there are roughly only 5 inconsistencies left, all of which are already covered in their respective articles anyway. This should be deleted before anymore anons feel like adding that "stormtroopers respawn as Emperor Palpatine", "Rebel troopers glow when they heal" and "Jango Fett only uses 1 gun instead of 2". -- I need a name (Complain here) 16:07, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

  7. Otherwise, we'd get "inconsistencies" articles for every game. (Did you know that in KOTOR II, you can play a male Jedi Exile? Oh no, continuity is ruined!) —Silly Dan (talk) 11:25, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
