Holonet News Vol. 532 58 (talk - history - links - logs)

From the talk page of the article:

This is very strange. The last issue posted on the HoloNet Website was HoloNet News Vol. 531 56. And I believe the first one to be published in the Insider was Republic HoloNet News Core Edition 14:2:12. So of course, I'd think this is fanon, but the anon who added it (way back when) seemed to have a good track record. Is there really a source for this thing or is it just junk? -- Ozzel 05:02, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Google and Yahoo searces only pull US up listing this volume. Also did a search for Pets 'N Pieces, the redlink from the article. Nothing relevant comes up on that, and nothing on Wookieepedia links to it. I'd say fanon. Wildyoda 05:10, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
  • All HoloNet News seems to be derived from a Star Wars blog of that name. It became potentially official when StarWars.com used its Special Inagurial (or something like that) Edition as extra info. Karohalva 05:15, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
  • I believe this: Pets' "N" Pieces, is what you're looking for. It's canon but as shown on the article, it's hard to say which one it's from. -- Riffsyphon1024 22:20, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

  2. Looks fanon to me. The entry about a Chancellor's election is a dead giveaway. Havac 02:52, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Comments

Pets' "N" Pieces is from an ad that appeared on several (or all) of the online issues. (See here). I'm really thinking this "Vol. 532" article was just made up. -- Ozzel 02:37, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
