First Strike

Unofficial Battlefield II mod, doesn't appear to be particularly notable. --MarcK [talk] 06:16, 1 Jan 2006 (UTC)

  • Actually, it is an official Battlefield 2 mod. If you would check the Total BF 2 news archives....

We also have an official site with models.

      • You just contradicted yourself. The text on the article states: "First Strike is is an unofficial Star Wars-based mod for the popular first-person shooter computer game Battlefield 2." -- Riffsyphon1024 10:11, 1 Jan 2006 (UTC)

  • Please read more carefully. It is an official Battlefield 2 mod, but an unofficial Star Wars-based mod for the game since saying that it's official would get the developers into trouble with Lucas Arts. Also if you are going to delete this article then you might as well delete the article for Galactic Conquest.

-Lord Vader Furthermore, look at the article for Galactic Conquest.

  • Galactic Conquest is an unofficial Star Wars-based mod for the popular first-person shooter computer game Battlefield 1942.
    • Now that I forgot we even had. I might reconsider its notability then. -- Riffsyphon1024 17:40, 1 Jan 2006 (UTC)
      • We should get rid of the Galactic Conquest article too. —Darth Culator (talk) 00:42, 2 Jan 2006 (UTC)
  • You guys are contradicting yourselves. The mod "The Sith Lords Restoration Project" hasn't had a full release yet either, but it has its own page. Furthermore, why can't the First Strike mod have a page of its own? It has everything to do with Star Wars.

  3. Delete. We've already been through something like this once before, so there's sufficient precedent for deletion. —Darth Culator (talk) 12:46, 1 Jan 2006 (UTC)
  4. Delete. Only the people who made battlefield can call it official anyway.--Xilentshadow900 17:47, 1 Jan 2006 (UTC)
  5. Delete. I think this can be a temporary deletion, this mod can't prove its notability until it is released. I suggest you, Lord Vader, to keep the article in your HD and post it back in march. If it becomes a live and popular mod, its worth will be undenieable. I propose that this vfd conclusion don't serve as argument in case it is deleted and restored again once the mod is live --Thinortolan 23:01, 1 Jan 2006 (UTC)
  6. Not yet notable. — Silly Dan 23:56, 3 Jan 2006 (UTC)
