Amanaman
An anon (65.64.183.145) has blanked this page, claiming it's fanon. I don't think it is, but I'll put it on VFD properly anyway. I invite 65.64.183.145 to register, and explain why this should be deleted. — Silly Dan 22:33, 11 Jan 2006 (UTC)

- CUSWE entry for reference - Kwenn 22:37, 11 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Also see SWTC for reference. It should be revamped a bit to set the OOU info apart from the character bio, but there's nothing fanonical about it. Anons shouldn't be able to initiate VFDs anyway. —Darth Culator (talk) 22:40, 11 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- It's also in Star Wars Encyclopedia (well, a picture of an Amanin answering this description in Jabba's Palace is, with ROTJ listed as a source, so everything but the character name is listed there.) So I'm as mystified as you are. — Silly Dan 22:42, 11 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's in the Encyclopedia. It should not be deleted.... but maybe the Encyclopedia should be added to the sources. KEJ 22:49, 11 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Not really needed, IMO, as SWE is only a secondary source that points to other sources. — Silly Dan 23:36, 11 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Still, it's a valid source KEJ 12:22, 12 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Of course. But this is a question we might want to bring up on the Manual of Style page. — Silly Dan 12:40, 12 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Sure, of course. KEJ 13:58, 12 Jan 2006 (UTC)

- While the anon who started this VFD has not appeared to explain his or her reasoning, he or she did attempt to remove the VFD, possibly indicating a change of opinion (or that the whole thing was a joke or troll to begin with). Can we take this to mean that we can end this VFD early? — Silly Dan 22:50, 12 Jan 2006 (UTC)
