Alliance-class Star Destroyer

Keep

  1. If it is indeed a bunch of modified Star Destroyers, it should be kept. And "Alliance-class Star Destroyer" is probably a much better name than ""Pirate nabber" Star Destroyer". Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:14, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

  2. On second thought, I don't think it deserves a separate article. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:28, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Comments

  • This article is named from a missinterpretation of the line "Is that an Alliance Star Destroyer?" from The Swarm War. There is also no evidence that this is a actual class rather than a number of ships with special modifications. If people want to keep this article, I would suggest we move it to something that these ships have actually been called, such as "Pirate nabber" Star Destroyer. Charlii 10:26, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
    • What's the contect of the line? Seems to me it could refer to a SD of any class belonging to the Alliance fleet. —Silly Dan (talk) 20:16, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
      • The reason I changed my vote is because this is the supposed "Victory III-class Star Destroyer" article that I did not support the creation of. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:29, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
      • Dan: Yes, that is the correct interpretation. In a battle between Killiks and Chiss, the joined YJK sees the Admiral Acbar enter the battle on the Killiks side. Since they don't know that it had been captured by the Killiks Tahiri asks her companions if, and why, an Alliance SD is really siding with the bugs. Later in the book the gigantic Megador is also called an Alliance SD, in proper context. Charlii 20:49, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
        • In that case, the guy who hasn't read the novel votes delete. —Silly Dan (talk) 04:23, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
