Talk 23:25, 23 January 2007 (UTC) - Recent edit wars (e.g. the Galactic Empire grammar war) have confirmed for me he's still not ready. I haven't given up hope that someday he'll be up to the task, but now is not that time. jSarek 23:35, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
I voted support last time, but this doesn't give me a lot of confidence. --Yoshi626 23:46, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- I believe that edit summary was in answer to your previous "Reverted. Why did you put that there?" question. -- I need a name (Complain here) 23:49, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

- I sometimes see small improvements in attitude...then see the same things happening over again. Still not ready, in my opinion. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 00:33, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- I have to agree with Jaymach. I do appreciate all the work he does here. Unfortunately, he deals poorly with stress, and he's easily rattled by differences of opinion. Those two characteristics unfortunately don't make for a good admin. Cull Tremayne 01:02, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- I was going to be neutral this time, but seeing Nebulax take out the same old "Kuralyov wahh wahh" BS again convinced me otherwise. Kuralyov 01:54, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Neutral

- I'd like to point out that he has helped stopped some recent vandals when I've been on IRC. —Xwing328(Talk) 00:22, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think anyone doubts his love for the Wiki, the high degree of effort he puts into it, or the zealousness with which he defends it from vandals. Our concerns lie with his obstinacy in disputes, his coarse manner in dealing with them, and other "bad behavior" such as the edit warring I mention above. jSarek 00:27, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Typical. An emphasis on my bad points and not enough focus on my good points. I'm starting to think that the only reason some people are voting against my nomination is because they simply don't want me to be an admin. Feel free to prove me wrong. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
00:35, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- jSarek already summed up your good points. Though that is not what an admin is needed for. You may be a great contributor but as for your people skills, they are somewhat lacking. And this is coming from someone who has no people skills. If I realize that then it's not that hard for others as well. --Redemption

- So Kuralyov can be an admin, and not me? Because Kuralyov has banned people in the past for no reason, and he also accused me and another user for his computer getting infected by a virus. Not to mention the page that contained numerous complaints on Kuralyov. Now, if he gets to be an admin, why not me? (No offense, Kuralyov; I'm just trying to prove a point.) And let me say this, people have said I'd abuse my admin powers even before they gave me a chance. Now, not only is that mean, but it's completely unfair. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- And let me ask everyone this: Do you all honestly think I would screw up being an admin if I were ever to become one? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
00:53, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- This isn't about Kuralyov. This is about you. If you have a problem with him then take it up with him personally. I'm not saying you'd abuse them but conflicts would arise that could otherwise be avoided if you remained at your current level. And yes, I do think you would screw up one way or the other if you were an admin, to be honest. --Redemption

- People say my atitude is a problem. But since when is one's atitude a factor in the role they play on a Star Wars wiki? What ever happened to the contributions they've made? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Alright, I struck my oppose vote. Perhaps I took too much offense to that comment. But I don't like it when somebody accuses me of not knowing what vandalism is. --Yoshi626 01:06, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

- Contributions should be only used as a basis as if they are devoted and aren't just here for a month. You've proven that time and time again. But like I said, your people skills suck. Admins need to be able negotiate without springing into a flame war. I have to see a debate involving you where a flame war didn't happen. And just as a future reference, stop feeling sorry for yourself that you obviously won't win this time. --Redemption
