Support
- MyNz 23:06, 28 April 2006 (UTC) - Aim for it Jack Nebulax. You have been here for more than six months and have contributed much to Wookieepedia.

- Conditional support. I believe Jack can and will overcome the criticism mentioned below. - Sikon [Talk] 03:30, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

Oppose
- Sorry Jack, but I think your attitude towards other users needs to improve a bit more before your admin material. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 23:09, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- I would support him, as he has made excellent contributions to this wiki and has done a great job of looking after many articles. However, from what I've seen from many of his interactions with others, he seems to feel that it's "his way or the highway" (no offense) on most articles. As Jaymach said, Jack will definately be admin material if his attitude toward others improves. Adamwankenobi

- Oppose, for the reasons mentioned above. jSarek 00:02, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

- Strong Oppose. 80% of his edits are reverts, most of them are actually useful content. He is closer to be a vandal, delibertately destroying contents. His attitude toward anons is condescending, if he's online when an anon adds something, it sure gets reverted. - TopAce 10:50, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
Neutral/comments
- On the one hand, he seems to always be online, and is vigilant against fanon and vandalism. On the other hand, he has a tendency to be overly brusque with new users. On the gripping hand, speaking as a newbie administrator who's still a bit surprised to have been promoted, how many admins do we really need? —Silly Dan (talk) 23:21, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- I can't believe there's someone else besides me who uses the phrase "gripping hand." Kuralyov 23:26, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- I understand why I'm being opposed, and I'd just like to let everyone know that from this point on, I'm going to try my hardest to not be so rude (I realized I've said this before, but this time I do mean it). And I really don't care if I end up an administrator or not. I know I need to improve before I can even come close to becoming an administrator, and hopefully I might become one in the future. This said, I really don't care about the outcome of this—I came here to edit articles and try to improve the site as best as I could. And don't think that this is something to try to get more votes, because it's not. I'm going to change from this point on. But I do appreciate the nomination, so thank you, MyNz. Admiral J. - Are there really too many admins here? MyNz 23:49, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- Jack, if you successfully improve your demeanor, I will be one of the first to support a future adminship nomination. You're constantly striving to improve the Wook, and are eternally vigilant against not only creeping fanon and vandalism, but also small things like grammar and box formatting. However, as admin, your job duties stretch beyond just improving Wookieepedia, and currently I don't feel you have the attitude to serve as a "face" for the site. If that changes, as you say it will, then you will be ready for the robe. jSarek 00:02, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- I won't let you down, jSarek. ;) Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- This may be a little off topic (or perhaps not), but I think we should require future nominees to accept the nomination prior to any voting/comments (with the obvious exception being self-noms). This way, we can be sure that the nominee actually wants to be an admin, and feels ready to do so. Thoughts? RMF 00:56, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
I asked Jack Nebulax's permission when I nominated him. He just needs to be kinder to new users. MyNz 01:11, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- I was just wondering, for those that oppose me, what if I could change before this vote ended? Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
12:29, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that I'd not change my vote as I'd need to make sure the attitude change stuck. As you said yourself, you've said that you'd change before so I'm afraid that I'd have to wait to see that you didn't change back. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 12:33, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- Jaymach, I give you my word, I won't change back this time. I don't mind if you still oppose this, but I just want to let you know. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Sorry, I agree. Only time will tell if the change is genuine. jSarek said it so well above; I truly hope you keep your word because you have done many good things for the site. WhiteBoy 18:40, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- TopAce, what are you talking about? I revert what I think sounds like fanon, and, if I was wrong, it gets re-added. And just because an anon does something doesn't mean I have to revert it. And I am not delibertately destroying content. I don't vandalize Wookieepedia. After all, TopAce was the one who made a personal attack on me here. He probably still has a grudge against me anyway. And I've made mistakes in the past, yes, but I certainly don't vandalize Wookieepedia. I try to improve it. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Oh well, it looks like I'm not going to make it this time anyway... Hopefully I'll be nominated again when I have fulfilled my promises. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Note: I've withdrawn my acceptance of the nomination for now. Hopefully I'll have better luck the next time around, if there is one. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
