"I have failed you, Anakin. I have failed you."
Obi-Wan Kenobi, to Anakin Skywalker, during their fight on Mustafar[src]

  1. I really felt this summed up the falling out between Anakin and Obi-Wan. It was the perfect form of the passage from the ROTJ novelization where Obi-Wan basically says the same thing(and before the PT was really all we knew about what happened between the two). Tragic really.--Anguirus111 02:58, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
  2. I don't think we need the explanation in the quote. -LtNOWIS 02:59, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
  3. Good quote. Obi-Wan's saying this more to himself than to Anakin. I agree that the longer explanation isn't needed. "Obi-Wan Kenobi to Anakin Skywalker" is good enough. I think that should be the case for most other quotes, too. --JMM 17:37, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
  4. I love this quote. Tracynsenaar 15:01, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

    • As horrible as this sounds, it makes me think of a teacher giving a kid an F on a paper... but I guess Obi's giving Anakin an F in life... Phoenix 06:39, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Vote removed as per QOTD policy decision

Alright I made it more basic. Truth be told I was having problems with the description too. I also kind of wish this line was higher up in the SW lexicon given it's significance.--Anguirus111 03:22, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
