Object

Kilson
  • The locations field of the Infobox could be filled in.
    • How is this?--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 20:40, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
  • The last two sentences of the Intro could probably be combined to make the Intro flow better.
    • Done.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 20:40, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
  • In the Bts, you say the Mark III was found in a corpse in the shadowlands. Could you go into more detail in the History section describing the corpse and how the Mark III was found on it.
    • I elaborated some, but I really can't say too much about the corpse, it was just one of the generic corpses from KOTOR. Do you want me to create an article called "Unidentified individual (Zabrak Tystel Mark III owner)"? By the way the corpse also had a Krath Double Sword, so that could change what the individual should be referred to. What do you think about this?--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 20:40, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
      • Yeah, you could probably create a small stub about the individual. Kilson(Let's have a chat) 14:13, August 30, 2011 (UTC)
        • Article created.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 17:00, August 30, 2011 (UTC)
  • Otherwise, good work. Kilson(Let's have a chat) 19:15, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thanks.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 20:40, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
  • My apologies, one more objection. In the Bts, you state that the Mark III had a range of twenty-three meters, which was the same as the game's other heavy blaster pistols. However, your reference states that the heavy blaster pistols had a range of twenty-eight. Please correct this discrepancy. Kilson(Let's have a chat) 13:21, August 31, 2011 (UTC)
    • Ah, sorry about that, the range is 23 meters.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 22:24, August 31, 2011 (UTC)
Talrrivanian
  • Both in the history and bts sections you should say something like:the pistol was found in the 'hand' of the corpse. I think you need to put where on the corpse it was found.--Talrrivanian JaingHead (Headquarters) 10:02, August 30, 2011 (UTC)
    • In the game, the corpse can be found by the player and the only way to find to gun is to loot the corpse. When you loot the corpse you can choose to take the items it has. It is impossible to know where on the corpse the items are located, so I cannot elaborate any further. Thanks for the review.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 11:47, August 30, 2011 (UTC)
Prepare to be savaged…
  • You say that the blaster was more powerful than the standard model, but what was the standard model? ~SavageBOB sig 17:36, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
    • Well it KOTOR you have a generic weapon for each weapon type. In this case I am referring to the generic heavy blaster pistol. The point I am trying to get across is that the weapon is better than most heavy blasters of its time. How would you suggest I word this?--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 18:12, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
      • So, the one you start with doesn't have any specific designation? If not, you could compare it to the other models in its category and make that claim. Just say "most models of its type" or something, provided that is actually supportable from the game or strategy guide. ~SavageBOB sig 18:53, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
        • Well, I worded it to where it says that it is "much more powerful and accurate than many of the more common heavy blaster pistol designs of its time." To me, this is the best way to word it since one common version is the generic heavy blaster, which is called "Heavy blaster" and is much less powerful than this weapon. However, there were a few other heavy blaster designs that were more powerful during the game, so I tried to word it where it goes with the information. What do you think?--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 20:03, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
          • That works! ~SavageBOB sig 20:59, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
Knights of the whaaaaaaat?
  • The term "Old Republic" only makes sense after 19 BBY. In an article entirely set nearly four thousand years before that, "Galactic Republic" would be bettah. All I got! Menkooroo 08:41, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
    • Changed.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 16:04, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
Attack of the Clone
  • "Compared to the standard heavy blaster pistol": what exactly is this "standard" pistol model? You mention common models earlier in the article, but this one needs more context. Was it the standard pistol in the game? In the universe? (And can it get linked, perhaps?) Please clarify. CC7567 (talk) 18:43, September 10, 2011 (UTC)
    • I'm just comparing it to the standard heavy blaster pistol from the game (which is called a heavy blaster). I can't link it because I already linked heavy blaster pistol earlier in the article. I tried to clarify it some, what do think?--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 19:22, September 10, 2011 (UTC)

  • I'm not sure if we should put this weapon at Tystel Mark III or Zabrak Tystel Mark III. We have the Mandalorian heavy blaster, which is a GA, so I am guessing that Zabrak Tystel Mark III is the way to go.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 02:31, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
