  • I wanted to inquire about the they/them pronouns used for a few reasons: one being because the temple had been under construction for centuries and though Ram had looked at it since he was a youngling—he ultimately has no idea who these Jedi are, or if they are/were even real Jedi and not just painted figures. It's important to include the field in the vast majority of circumstances, but DJO for this novel has already confirmed in one instance (see unidentified Nihil prison warden) of the usage of "they" and "their" being for a location, and "they/them/theirs" as words—grammatically speaking—can just as easily be used when character(s) do not know the identities of those they are looking at a depiction of without knowing them/pursuing them/chasing them, think "they're getting away!" for someone like Leia Organa in disguise. Just generally though after conferring with another board member, given these fictionally painted Jedi may or may not exist to begin with IU, it feels much more like a "I don't know them", but 'they' [the painted figures] are all doing various things in this old mural, rather than a proper pronoun usage. • That is a good point. I removed it. DarthSkyll (talk) 08:56, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
      • Thanks fr your understanding, the category should be changed as well Lewisr (talk) 18:13, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
        • Right, I forgot about the category. I changed it. DarthSkyll (talk) 21:43, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
  • Do we know that they actually were a Jedi during the High Republic Era, asking per Category:Jedi during the High Republic Era? Lewisr (talk) 06:45, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
    • I removed the category. DarthSkyll (talk) 20:10, 5 February 2024 (UTC)

  • There's a more trimmed date note available on the novel's main page (and several other EFV pages to yoink it off of, as current precedent it's better to tailor to the specific book, especially since P3 will eventually be spanning several years, and the book itself does tie itself into HRCE anyway.—spookywillowwtalk 02:57, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
    • I changed it. DarthSkyll (talk) 08:56, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
  • Unsure if Jedi during the High Republic Era is accurate—because, paintings can be made of Jedi who lived in the past.
  • The phrasing "could use the Force power Telekinesis to levitate objects like a set of crystal rings." is too specific due to the context of the appearance and should be cut, since the information is repeated in the Biography in full. Primarily since this is a mural and not a holoimage of a definitive event that happened, it doesn't necessarily confirm that the individual was able to do so—could've been an inspired painting of a Jedi's future aspirations or just fictional in general—so just noting that they're Force-sensitive and merging that into the PT section suits since it'd just be that small piece of info.
  • Wording should be rearranged to introduce the Alcedian themselves in the first sentence.
  • Given it's not an actual appearance of the character, it would make sense to say "depicted on a mural alongside several other Jedi" instead of going into depth on each, since the Jedi may or may not have any correlation to each other, and the mural article will repeat the information which's a fitting place for it.
  • Per above, "Valo was trapped behind the Stormwall in the Nihil Occlusion Zone" also seems not quite relevant to the character themselves given the context, and we also have a tendency to contextualize what the Nihil are as an organization in status articles. I'd recommend something similar to chopping that above bit and then going into something like "Padawan Ram Jomaram used the Valo Jedi temple as a secret base to hide from the Nihil marauders occupying Valo."
  • (This point applies to all mural-related nominations.) The opening chapter describes the Valo Temple's construction as a "decades-long" process from the point the Jedi were first granted access to the building, tightening the dating to "decades before 231 BBY" basically, since it's noted to have been in the context of pre-Republic Fair.
  • Valo Temple attic exists as a page to be linked since that's his hideout area.
  • Novel notes that the mural specifically depicts various Jedi interacting with different interpretations of the Force, which can be noted.
  • Jedi Order is infobox-exclusive.
  • Given how we treat most sentient species identified by name and have their own articles, the PT section needn't note that Alcedians were avians or that they were a species (regarding "of the avian Alcedian species).—spookywillowwtalk 03:45, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
    • All addressed except the "decades before 231" point. I don't really see how this is relevant since the mural could have been painted long after the temple was constructed. But I might be missing something. DarthSkyll (talk) 20:10, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
      • The building that the Valo Temple is was previously a Valo government building unaffiliated with the Jedi Order, constructed by Valons for such prior to Jedi setting up on the world.—spookywillowwtalk 20:16, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
      • Given the HR era Jedi category was removed, it is now missing the parent category of Category:Jedi of the Jedi Order.
      • Jedi Order—due to being an affiliation—should optimally still be not pipelinked and listed as a full link.—spookywillowwtalk 20:30, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
  • Per this CT the links on "Alcedian Jedi" in the first sentence should be moved down.
  • "Depicted on" used in two sentences back to back; should be possible to merge the sentences pretty easily to avoid repeating the info/repetitive wording.—spookywillowwtalk 20:30, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
