Ultimo Vista

  • Nominated by: JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic
  • Nomination comments: This is what happens after a night of no sleep and the reinstallation of Vista (Before anyone asks, it was broken, and then repaired over the night of little sleep)

    • Hahaha oh wow. Told you this is what happens when I work on a random article without sleep. :| Fixed, by the way. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 00:09, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
  2. Per Chack. Well written, but totally unsourced. Ifindyourlackoffaithdisturbing (Oya Manda!) 23:06, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
    • See above. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 00:09, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
  3. Toprawa:
    • I know it's not mandatory, but I would request you include some kind of BTS. Usually I discourage the types of bits about "[Word x] means [whatever] in the Ukrainian language," but in this specific case, I think it would be pertinent to specify that "Ultimo Vista" would mean "Ultimate View" if that "u" was accented. Toprawa and Ralltiir 01:57, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
      • Oy, BTS. I too dislike the "this means this" inclusions (especially with the atrocious wording I typed up), but I'm willing to throw that in there.
    • What is this describing exactly? I'm not finding anything in the infobox illustration remotely matching this description. Can you word this a little better? "with a horizontal, flat, beam-shaped device resting on the ship's fore underbelly"
      • Well, it's that... thing (I don't know what to call it) at the front of the ship, just under the curved front thing. I tried a better description, but I'm drawing a blank. Suggestions?
    • Please link this "airspeeder" to the appropriate article. It's one of our FAs, I do believe: "narrowly avoided impact with the slow-moving craft inside of an airspeeder"
      • Sigh. I don't know how I missed that. I mean, I really don't know how I missed that. Linked (and sigh).
    • The "Role" section is unnecessary and any and all information should be merged with the "Characteristics" section, per our running precedent of ship articles. We typically reserve "Role" sections only for ship classes, not individual ships.
      • Removed, with a bit of "meh" included.
    • There are definitely some infobox fields that could be filled in based on some of the information in the article. Toprawa and Ralltiir 02:22, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
      • Like what? The only thing I could think of - and it's a stretch at that - is the "First/Last seen" field, which is more of a source thing than anything else. I'm uncomfortable with saying it was first spotted in 21 BBY, when it was known to operate several decades before then. Likewise, saying it was last spotted in 21 BBY is also suspect, since the one source said it continued on into the future. It just feels all OOU to me, like the era field. The other one I could think of is the "Passengers" field which would essentially contain "several thousand beings", which I thought was frowned upon in the vein of a status of "equipped" in the engine/hyperspace/shield forms if we don't know what type they possessed. If I'm wrong on that, correct me. I also might be just drawing a complete blank (since I actually don't remember writing most of this thing).
