  • BTS needs to use quote, not dialogue, format. Chack Jadson (Talk) 16:44, August 22, 2010 (UTC)
    • Used quote from official website instead --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 06:51, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
Darn you, Chack ^^
  • Context on Obi-Wan in the body.
  • Context on Coruscant in the body.
    • What kind of context exactly? --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 06:51, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
      • Something like "Jedi Master" and "capital planet of the Republic" would fit. Clone Commander Lee Talk 13:43, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
        • Exactly, or "galactic capital". -- 1358 (Talk) 14:21, August 30, 2010 (UTC)

              • If you are talking about the first sentence of the History section, I decided not to say Jedi Master Obi Wan because it's talking about him when he wasn't a Jedi. Instead I went with "begin his training to become a Jedi Master" later in the paragraph which is more appropriate. Coruscant is called the galactic capital in the article --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 00:10, September 4, 2010 (UTC)
                • You still need to link Kenobi, and in my opinion, he could have same slight context like 'Human'. Also, link [[The galaxy|galactic]] [[capital]]. -- 1358 (Talk) 06:17, September 4, 2010 (UTC)
                  • How about now? --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 07:50, September 4, 2010 (UTC)
                    • Looks good. -- 1358 (Talk) 11:43, September 4, 2010 (UTC)
  • "Stewjon was named during "The Main Event" at Celebration V, an interview between the Star Wars creator George Lucas and talk show host Jon Stewart.." So Celeb V was an interview between Lucas and Stewart?

  • "It was also able to produce fruit." What? Planets themselves can not produce fruits AFAIK.
  • "the Human male Obi-Wan Kenobi was discovered by the Jedi Order as a Force-sensitive child." It sounds like the Jedi Order was a Force-sensitive child. Perhaps "the Force-sensitive Human male..."?
  • "Though he knew very little of his family and of the planet..." I think he didn't remember much of the family and the planet, rather than knowing little about them. -- 1358 (Talk) 18:35, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
    • OK now? --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 21:31, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
  • I doubt that you can source that Kenobi became a Jedi Master to The Hidden Past.
    • Key Word: eventually --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 12:40, September 7, 2010 (UTC)
  • You need to give a proper source for Motti being named after O'Brien. The only thing Sue says in her blog is that Conan Antonio Motti is canon, not that he was named after Conan O'Brien. -- 1358 (Talk) 12:01, September 7, 2010 (UTC)
    • well i can't find any websites that specifically say it. Would I be able to cite older websites using Wayback Machine? --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 12:40, September 7, 2010 (UTC)
      • As long as you cite a valid, working source, it's okay. -- 1358 (Talk) 14:59, September 7, 2010 (UTC)
        • OK, not the strongest source but it does say Motti comes from Conan and that Lucas made it that way. That's the best I can do, unless someone can find a better source. --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 21:24, September 7, 2010 (UTC)
  • You need to use the {{cite web}} template for external references. -- 1358 (Talk) 10:27, September 8, 2010 (UTC)

  • No more categories?
  • Publish date for The Hidden Past?
  • Nothing should be only in the intro. For example, "…which consisted of his mother and father, as well as his brother, Owen." is not in the body.
    • Could you name his brother in the body as well? -- 1358 (Talk) 18:48, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

From the Council Chambers:
  • The YouTube video you used as a source for the BTS quote has been taken down by Lucasfilm. You need to find another way of sourcing it, or the quote will have to go. Please be aware that if you find another YouTube video of the interview to use as a source, it will likely be taken down as well very soon. —Master Jonathan New Jedi Order (Jedi Council Chambers) 05:09, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
    • Changed to quote on official website now. --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 06:51, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
  • "After being knighted, he visited his family occasionally, though not enough to create a strong relationship between them, as to not go against the Jedi Code.": Exactly where is this information from? You have it sourced to both The Hidden Past and Obi-Wan's Databank entry, but I cannot find it in either one. —Master Jonathan New Jedi Order (Jedi Council Chambers) 18:02, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
    • Changed after reading the actual text. Haha --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 08:38, September 3, 2010 (UTC)
The Wizard did it
  • You don't need to link to "Human" twice. Just the first time will do.
  • Can you find a quote from The Hidden Past to put as the lead quote?
  • Remove the comma before "and his family".
  • In one of the quotations in the BTS, you have the comma before the quotation mark as opposed to after. Fix this.
    • Actually, there are two. Fix them.
  • You dare to nominate an article, you must pay the comma-quences!! ;)--BonslywizardTrade Federation(Send a transmission...It's perfectly legal!) 03:12, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
    • Hey Bonsly, most of these fall under the unofficial {{Sofixit}} clause, which is basically that objections as minor as misplaced commas or a duplicate link should simply be fixed by the reviewer rather than objected to. All except the quote objection fall under that clause here. Also, since I'm typing here anyway, I'll let you know that I'm familiar with the Jedi Apprentice series, and there are no relevant quotes available. One other thing: After looking at the article again, the commas are already correctly placed relative to the quotation marks; this is one of the differences between American and British/Canadian English. :) —Master Jonathan New Jedi Order (Jedi Council Chambers) 03:24, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
      • Well, did some more minor edits concerning these things anyway, apart from the commas. The only quote available is longer then the actual introduction so I think it is inappropriate for usage. --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 04:43, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
        • Good work anyway.--BonslywizardTrade Federation(Send a transmission...It's perfectly legal!) 15:53, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
Cav
  • I think the intro could be expanded by a sentence or two.
  • The Human male Obi-Wan Kenobi was born on Stewjon in 57 BBY[2] - you can't source all this to the character birth year blog since it makes no mention of Stewjon. Everything up to Stewjon has to be referenced to the interview itself, with "in 57 BBY" sourced to the blog. - Cavalier OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 21:26, September 10, 2010 (UTC)
    • Done --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 00:00, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
      • Although objections are struck, see the comments section for possible source problem. - Cavalier OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 10:35, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
Toprawa
  • Preliminary objection: The use of the "First mentioned" tag with the lone Appearances item is problematic, since you also use the Flashback tag. A flashback appearance still counts as an appearance. If the planet still appears in this flashback, that is, if it's more than just a mention, please go ahead and replace 1stm with just (First appearance) Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:41, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
    • Changed --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 23:17, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
  • The final sentence of the "Description" section should really be moved into an "Inhabitants" section, as stipulated by the LG, and as short as the section would be.
    • Are you sure it should be left like that? It looks a bit strange...
      • I agree one-sentence sections aren't ideal, but that sentence really doesn't belong in "Description." From the LG: "Description will include any information on the characteristics of the planet itself, such as its location, its geological trends, its climate and ecosystem, and native vegetation. Also, any non-sentient fauna is to be described here." That's also why we have an "Inhabitants" section: "Inhabitants includes a description of the planet's native or resident sentient species (where applicable) and any other notable inhabitants." Toprawa and Ralltiir 02:26, September 13, 2010 (UTC)
  • Kudos for using the citeweb template. Toprawa and Ralltiir 01:46, September 13, 2010 (UTC)
    • Thank you! --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 02:19, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

Approved as a Good article by AgriCorps 02:26, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

  • Just looked at Kenobi's CUSWE entry and I quote: "Note that the novelization of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi claims Obi-Wan was the first son of a moderately wealthy family ... and was praised by his family ...". Checked the book and I couldn't find anything, any help with this please? --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 07:23, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
    • While the information would probably be more relevant to the Kenobi family article, I'll hold off on adding my vote just yet in case it can be added to the source list. Have you checked the junior novelisation or just the adult one? - Cavalier OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 10:35, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
      • Just the adult, I have no way of getting the junior one, and I would say it wouldn't have aything much different to it. Maybe just a mistake made by Bob? --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 11:04, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
        • I can confirm that the junior novelization says nothing about this. —Master Jonathan New Jedi Order (Jedi Council Chambers) 18:22, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
          • Didn't newer versions of the ROTJ novelization remove the reference to Obi-Wan's brother Owen? If so, they may have removed this info too. In which case, I guess it would be no longer canon? Still bts-worthy, maybe. Menkooroo 00:15, September 13, 2010 (UTC)
            • The version I checked for references to his family still had the Owen-brother thing still in it so I have no idea where CUSWE gets this thing from. --Vandar Tokare42 (Talk to the hand) 00:30, September 13, 2010 (UTC)
