    • Yes, I know it could be an FA nom. The problem is that I don't have access to the sources that could flesh the article out in the era you specify - there also needs to be info put in about Legacy-era dogfights but again I don't have the necessary info.   • The Loran Spitball is using starfighters as extra torpedo/missile launchers against capital ships. It does not apply to starfighter combat, i.e. dogfighting. -Fnlayson 19:01, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

      • It does use starfighters, sure. The main/thesis statement of the article is "Starfighter combat refers to engagements fought between starfighters.". I take that as starfighters against starfighters, but some leeway can apply. A mention of the Loran Spitball somewhere is fine as long as it is not required for completeness. -Fnlayson 19:35, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

  • There's a lot of stuff covering starfighter combat in the Rebel Alliance Sourcebook, such as the Five Stages of Starfighter Combat, and several manoeuvres (such as the Reverse Throttle Hop) that isn't in the article. just wondering if its worth putting in? - Cavalier One 08:02, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

      • There's a lot of info there, as I recall. I just didn't want to put it in and mess up the article. I've not worked on pages going through the Good Article process, and don't want to tread on any toes. - Cavalier One 15:00, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
  • One picture needs to be sourced - an image of a Talon I combat cloud car in the section Atmospheric combat. It should probably just be removed from the article though, as it doesn't appear ti be engaged in any kind of combat User:Tutos Lumenarious 20:14, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Pictures need to be sorted out once the article is completed. They need to be arranged so that the majority of them are not right-aligned. Also, the pictures there are areas of the article which seemed to be crammed with pictures while other parts have a scarcity. Greyman(Paratus) 13:28, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Fixed the image problem and added a new one. Also, I've expanded the History sections, adding one about the Dark Nest Crisis as well as adding to the Starfighters versus capital ships section. Most everything that needs to be sourced (as far as I can tell) has been thusly notated in the reference list, plus links in the references have been added.--Goodwood 20:21, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
  • I tend to disagree with the people who say this article is well on the way to being featured. The prose is choppy in places, particularly the intro (the second sentence, egads!) and the Types of Engagements section smells of original research- nowhere in Heir to the Empire does anyone define two types of starfighter combat.
