Leftovers from the Council Chambers:
  • One unaddressed objection remains from the pre-nom review.
    • If you're referring to the bit about the shield regeneration, I figured since it is unique info it needs documented, just not in the body. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 17:57, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
      • Yes, I'm referring to that, but no, it does not need to be documented. That type of effect is present in many video games, so it's not "unique". The only place that would need to be documented is in a game guide, and Wookieepedia is an encyclopedia, not a game guide. —MJ— Council Chambers Wednesday, June 20, 2012, 19:42 UTC
        • I would have to say it's not a matter of being a game guide. The enhancing technology has to exist in-universe in some fashion, evidenced by the quote, and must be documented. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 19:27, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
          • When I play Battlefront II and begin to get low on health, sometimes an engineer from my team will throw a health/ammo pack at me and say "Power up, trooper." That doesn't mean that there is a physical object in-universe that magically improves your health; it's still game mechanics. In other words, quotes can be game mechanics also. —MJ— Council Chambers Saturday, June 23, 2012, 15:44 UTC
            • This is entirely different from something like an ammo pack. It's the only time in the game something like that exists, and I believe that it's not just a matter of gamemechanics. It is a storyline choice, it is in-universe, and must be documented. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 16:24, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
              • I still disagree, but it's clear we're not going to agree on our own, so I've asked Tope to comment in his role as an AC member. If he sides with you, I'll drop it and strike. —MJ— Comlink Saturday, June 23, 2012, 16:42 UTC
                • As I've been asked to give a third opinion, may I ask if this replenishing shield appears only at this single instance in this level and/or the game itself, or is this a fairly common thing found throughout the game, such as the ammo-providing trooper from Battlefront that MJ refers to. Toprawa and Ralltiir 16:46, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
                • Sure. The shields on the starfighters restore automatically (with their astro droids); the ones on the Flash speeder do not. The mining hub thing where the player must go is unique. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 18:46, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
                  • So this shield replenishing thing at this mining hub is a unique circumstance in the game? Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:46, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
                  • Exactly; distinctive technology and a distinctive quote, and optional. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 19:51, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
                    • Well, since this sounds like it's more unique than, say, the ammo-tossing dudes from Battlefront, and not some sort of generic upgrade found in every single level, I should think a BTS note would be appropriate for this. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:54, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
                      • OK, fine. I still disagree, but I won't push further. Thanks for helping mediate, Tope. :) —MJ— Holocomm Saturday, June 23, 2012, 19:59 UTC
                        • No problem, glad to help. FWIW, perhaps to help further legitimize its inclusion, I would have probably thrown it into some sort of "Possible extras" subsection or something like that, akin to what we do with some ambiguous and non-canon biographies in the BTS. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:06, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
  • Also, one that I missed earlier: can you try to replace the infobox image with one depicting combat? Right now, it's supremely unclear what is being shown.
    • Well, there's File:BFN mining camp attack.jpg for the skirmish at the mining camp. Would that fit? Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 17:57, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
      • It's not perfect, but it depicts actual combat, which is all I'm looking for. Put it in and I'll strike. Ideally, a new screenshot better depicting an overview of the battle, preferably not from a first-person perspective, would be perfect, but I'm not going to push for that. What you've got will work for my purposes, though a caption wouldn't hurt. —MJ— Council Chambers Wednesday, June 20, 2012, 19:42 UTC
        • Okay, I'll be able to go through my stored images tomorrow to see if there's anything better. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 19:27, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
          • Alright, thanks for bearing with me. I think I found the perfect one. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower
  • Otherwise, looks good after my pre-nom stuff. —MJ— Council Chambers Tuesday, June 19, 2012, 22:50 UTC
    • Thanks for the advice.
      • No problem. —MJ— Council Chambers Wednesday, June 20, 2012, 19:42 UTC
Exiled Jedi
  • Context on who Captain Kael and Lieutenant Sykes are in the introduction. The way it is just now, they could have been employees of the Hutt that were betrayed.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 00:48, July 15, 2012 (UTC)
    • Added, thanks for looking it over. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 01:19, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
Cav
  • At the end of the prelude, you mention Sykes goes off looking for Kael. But, by the start of The Search, all of Bravo Squadron are searching for him. So which is correct? - Cavalier OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 18:51, July 22, 2012 (UTC)
    • Resolved. Thanks for looking it over. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 23:38, July 27, 2012 (UTC)
Toprawa
  • All three sentences of the "Prelude" section begin the exact same way. Please vary up the article's wording, and I will continue my copy-edit. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 23:36, August 8, 2012 (UTC)
    • I humbly submit my much better changes. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 02:22, August 9, 2012 (UTC)
  • Is Lutin Hollis Sykes' only wingman, or one of many wingmen of his? I ask because the article seems to treat this from different angles, and the answer to this will dictate the use of certain commas within the text.
    • Him and Deviss. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 20:41, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
  • Vedd Deviss could use some kind of brief introductory context in the Aftermath. Something like "fellow Naboo Resistance fighter Vedd Deviss."
    • Sure, added.. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 20:41, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
  • The concluding pipelink in the Aftermath section is just rather unnecessarily long, IMO. I'd like to see that pipelink reduced to no more than a single phrase, rather than half an entire sentence.
    • So done. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 20:41, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
  • I'm a bit confused over the image caption in "The Captain's fighter" section. The caption seems to suggest there are four individuals in the shot, but I only see three (two starfighters and the downed vessel). Care to clarify? Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:52, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
    • Well, if you zoom in, you can see Sykes' speeder to the left of the wreckage. I added in their respective vehicles in the caption. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 20:41, August 11, 2012 (UTC)
