  • The date note only mentions Ryland and Laina's escape, not the latter's birth year, which is also sourced to that note.
  • I don't know if any other source establishes a more precise timeframe, but at least according to Raymus, there is roughly an hour between Rogue One and A New Hope.   • I might be over thinking it, please just ignore this if you think so, but since the story takes place in the days leading to ANH, therefore the last days of 1 BBY per Timelines, roughly a year and a half before that would probably be c. 2 BBY, not 3.     • Swapped. I'm not too fussed admittedly—the short story collection as a whole is supposed to be ANH adjacent-ish (more 0 BBY than anything); so I know we have to treat it like 1 BBY for Wook reasons, but that too feels inaccurate.
