  • Since the Republic Era starts in 1032 BBY, I don't think you can say "by the time of the Republic Era" since that it implies that the office existed before that. I'd use the more specific dating of the novel in its place instead. Ayrehead02 (talk) 08:22, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
