Could you mention that the Vong are sentient.Ayrehead02 (talk) 14:35, December 30, 2013 (UTC)

Should some mention of the fact that Yuuzhan'tar (the original) was destroyed be mentioned in the article?- Sir Cavalier of One(Squadron channel) 08:58, January 2, 2014 (UTC)
Savaged…
"outside of residences" -- Yuuzhan Vong residences? Can this be clarified?- There, clarified.
"eat anything that came within reach" -- Can we classify them as omnivores, then?- I guess so - CSWE says only that they eat anything within sight. I've added that they are omnivores.
The dates don't line up in "History" -- we jump from 28 ABY to 27 ABY. Should the first one be 27?- Looking at it, I can say that the p'hiili were in existence on Yuzzhan'tar before the Yuuzhan Vong war, as I believe the world was destroyed prior to that. I've changed it to reflect this. How's that?
As a unique structure, should the shrine get an article (or at least a link)? ~Savage

As a preliminary objection, I'm not sure I agree with the article's assumption of non-sentience. I think you have to disregard the mention of "creature," which isn't necessarily indicative of sentience. Wampas are known as "wampa ice creatures," for example, but we know they are semi-sentient.Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:04, January 15, 2014 (UTC)- I can remove the creature part in the note, but do you think that the "organic alarm system" mention still qualifies it as a non-sentient? If it doesn't, I'll cut the entire non-sentient part out of the article. 501st dogma(talk) 01:03, January 15, 2014 (UTC)
- I admit I'm sort of torn. I can definitely understand why you're treating the subject as non-sentient based on that description, but it just kind of bugs me whenever we make assumptions like that, no matter how straightforward, since continuity has a way of creating exceptions to every rule. I would suggest just not assuming. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 08:28, January 16, 2014 (UTC)

"in which the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the New Republic galaxy in order to find a new home" I really don't think it's proper that you call it the "New Republic galaxy". It's not the name of the galaxy, nor is it even the only government in the galaxy at the time.IFYLOFD (Enter the Floydome) 05:56, January 23, 2014 (UTC)- To be fair, I changed the original wording, which I didn't find ideal, to this. Would we all be ok with "the galaxy of the New Republic"? It's still the dominant government, even if it's not the only one. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 07:13, January 23, 2014 (UTC)
- I would be much more comfortable with that. IFYLOFD (Enter the Floydome) 06:13, January 24, 2014 (UTC)
