I've been meaning to try and catch you on IRC to discuss this, but I'll leave this objection here until I do. That reference note for the date is beyond confusing. I can't understand it, and certainly none of our readers are going to be able to. I'm willing to work with you to help simplify it, but it's something best done in person so we can talk.Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 02:41, March 18, 2015 (UTC)The infobox has some referencing problems. Firstly, Olovin isn't mentioned in New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, so that citation needs a manual explanation for why Olovin was manufactured by SFS. Secondly, the Olovin CSWE entry doesn't say that it's an Immobilizer 418 cruiser. It says it's an "Interdictor cruiser," which is like saying it's a "Star Destroyer." You need something more specific to support calling it in an Immobilizer 418, provided that something can even be found.Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 03:28, March 18, 2015 (UTC)- The first one should be fixed. As for the second, TCSWE treats the Immobilizer 418 as the same thing as "Interdictor cruiser" I believe, though I won't have TCSWE at hand to make sure until Saturday (I think the 418 entry mentions it). 501st dogma(talk) 20:48, March 18, 2015 (UTC)
- Saturday has passed without resolution on this objection, so I'm still waiting. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 16:49, March 22, 2015 (UTC)
- TCSWE's got two entries for the 418, one under Immobilizer 418, and the other under Interdictor-class cruiser (with the Old Republic interdictor of the same name here on the wook as Interdictor-class warship), but neither of the entries refer to an Intirdictor cruiser unfortunately. I'm assuming we can't say that it is a 418 because that's the only known version of an Interdictor cruiser in the time period correct? 501st dogma(talk) 17:39, March 22, 2015 (UTC)
- What you're asking isn't out of the question. I did something similar here (read the BTS and reference 3), but you would need to source the living crap out of your assertion. You would need to demonstrate that "Interdictor cruiser," which was later formally classified as the "Immobilizer 418," only referred to a single ship class as of this book's publication in September 2003. I'm not sure that's even true, considering the existence of the Interdictor-class Star Destroyer, which predates The Final Prophecy. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 03:31, March 23, 2015 (UTC)
