Actually, splitting it up into intro/bio is needed; the LG requires it. Not having to do so was a rule made solely for CAs; but if you can reach 250 words in an article without sectioning the intro into an intro/bio, then you definitely have enough information to split it up without being too repetitive.Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 15:46, January 22, 2011 (UTC)Intro is way too big: 138 words, and the bio is only 182.- Removed a bit. OLIOSTER (talk) 01:39, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
- The intro is still too large in relation to the bio. Check out some other short character GAs to see the size of the intro expected for an article this size. (Also note that some information here would be fine just being covered in the P&T.) Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 01:55, January 24, 2011 (UTC)

Sourcing isn't requried for an article with just one source/appearance. Right now, you source the infobox but not the rest of the article. It's completely optional whether to source or not, but please pick one and stick with it.I'm seeing plenty of info that belongs in a P&T.- Good? OLIOSTER (talk) 01:39, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
- There is still some info in the bio that belongs in the P&T. (For a couple examples: the fact that he speaks Mon Calamarian, whether he was happy or not, etc.) Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 01:55, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
- Added the Mon Cal bit. His happiness about being retired is mentioned at the start. OLIOSTER (talk) 05:44, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
- Looks good; but I mean there is some info in the bio itself still that doesn't need to be there. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 01:24, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- Removed a bit. If you see something else, be specific :). OLIOSTER (talk) 08:12, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- Better; but really the whole second paragraph is personalty information that could be merged with the P&T. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 16:17, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- Somehow I think if I did this, someone would come in complaining about a lack of redundancy. OLIOSTER (talk) 19:13, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
- A lack of redundancy? How is that a bad thing? Every bit of info in that second paragraph is not relevant to his bio whatsoever; it is just straightforward information about his personality. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 15:50, February 2, 2011 (UTC)

A couple more objections in the meantime: "Hopes" and "hoping" become a little repetitive in the last sentence of the intro. In the bio you say that he spoke only MonCalamarian according to his droid, but in the P&T you just state that he spoke Mon Calamarian. Which is correct?Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 01:24, January 25, 2011 (UTC)- Addressed. OLIOSTER (talk) 08:12, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- One quick question on this: in the BTS, you make it sound as though we know he spoke Mon Calamarian. If that is the case, then you should state that he did in fact speak the language; we're not just taking his droid's word for it. Either way, you can keep in the droid's statement that Mon Calamarian was the only language Woodle spoke, because it does sound like we have only the droid's word for that. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 16:17, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
- Its a rather complicated thing. If you talk to his droid, he says he only speaks MonCal, and Kulton won't speak to a character who doesn't have MonCal comprehension. I wrote the article from the standpoint of a character that can speak MonCal. OLIOSTER (talk) 19:13, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, correct me if I'm wrong, but here's my understanding of the matter. Basically, we have evidence that Woodle does in fact speak Mon Cal; however, we have only his droid's word that mon Cal is the only language that Woodle can speak. If that's the case, please specify as such in the article. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 15:50, February 2, 2011 (UTC)

You have some infobox-exclusive information right now.Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 17:33, February 2, 2011 (UTC)- What, his skin color? Do I really have to mention that in the article's body? OLIOSTER (talk) 17:39, February 2, 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, you do. Everything present in the intro and the infobox must be present somewhere in the main body. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 19:58, February 2, 2011 (UTC)
- Then why have I never seen this mentioned before and why are there so many articles that have passed the process that don't mention skin color in their body? OLIOSTER (talk) 06:15, February 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Because, believe it or not, sometimes these little things slip through our reviews. Please, point out any article containing an example of this issue and I'll be happy to fix it. And if you don't want to take my word for it, then ask any of the other ACs'. No information should be infobox-exclusive. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 07:44, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

As someone who has never played Galaxies, some more context and info on the entire language comprehension skill and removal would be appreciated.- Cavalier One(Squadron channel) 14:06, February 2, 2011 (UTC)

"of the Theed spaceport in an" Can a specific spaceport be linked here? Earlier you have just linked spaceport. Same for the bio.- And that's all actually. 1358 (Talk) 23:31, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
Toprawa
Would an article be appropriate for the spacer with whom Woodle speaks?Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:58, February 5, 2011 (UTC)- An article for the player? That makes my brain hurt. OLIOSTER (talk) 23:31, February 5, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not sure whether to register that comment as sarcasm, contempt, or both. Perhaps you'd like to rephrase. Toprawa and Ralltiir 23:43, February 5, 2011 (UTC)
- No ill will meant. Just a article for the player would forever be a stub and getting a precise timeline of events for the player would be impossible. If you really think it necessary, I'll make it though. OLIOSTER (talk) 02:41, February 6, 2011 (UTC)
- No, I don't mean to push for the creation of the article. I'm afraid I just don't fully understand the Galaxies player-character canonicity, never having the played the game myself. I got your link posting from IRC, but I think I'm still kind of confused. But if it's not necessary, I trust your judgment. Toprawa and Ralltiir 04:26, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

- Was brought to my attention after it passed as a comprehensive that it was just over 250 words, so brought it here. I don't think having to split it up into an intro and bio would be needed.OLIOSTER (talk) 10:40, January 22, 2011 (UTC)
