Does the last biography paragraph have to be sourced to the comic? Surely all of that info could just be sourced to the film.TommyMacaroni 15:25, August 13, 2018 (UTC)
Fred strikes back
Why is the info from the novelization not in the bio? At least the bit about the computers and talking to the droid. I get that the Flight Officer bit could be considered a contradiction that would be covered in the Bts, but the rest seems to fit fine with the film. It's just not shown on screen.MasterFred(Whatever) 17:23, August 17, 2018 (UTC)
- The film places Jones' conversation before the First Order's arrival, while the novel places that same (albeit reworked) conversation after the First Order arrives, and there's a third speaker. That clearly contradicts the film, so I think it's best to keep that info in the BTS. - Cwedin(talk) 18:31, August 17, 2018 (UTC)
- Are we not sure it's a separate conversation that takes place shortly after the scene in the film? MasterFred

- Yep, unless Jones says the same thing to the same person twice. Maybe he just really loves those thirty pallets of cannon shells. :P - Cwedin(talk) 19:14, August 17, 2018 (UTC)
- Fair enough. MasterFred

Toprawa
Is that infobox image really the highest quality we can get? Maybe it's just the scene, but it doesn't look very sharp. I kind of can't believe the Blu-ray would look that bad.Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 15:30, August 18, 2018 (UTC)- I'll see if JMAS is up to the challenge. - Cwedin(talk) 19:40, August 18, 2018 (UTC)
- Can't really do anything about the color, but I've put in a sharper blu ray screenshot. - JMAS

Sorry for the delay on this. I think we need to incorporate anything from the novelization into the article that isn't a direct contradiction to the events of the film. Namely, Kaydel's order to Jones to oversee the destruction of the base's computer takes place after the film scene cuts away, so it can fairly be interwoven with what we see in the film and not be considered a contradiction.Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 16:47, September 20, 2018 (UTC)I'd like to see one more sentence added to the intro. You could briefly mentioned that he helped evacuate munitions or whatever the case may be before being ordered to destroy the computers.- Done.
I was initially going to object to the final Bio paragraph going into too much unnecessary detail while noting that the first indication of a problem should be that the article subject is never mentioned once anywhere in there. But now I think you should just cut that paragraph entirely. We don't know what happened to Jones and whether or not he even made it off D'Qar, so it's quite appropriate to just conclude the Bio after the end of the second paragraph, which leaves us with the understanding that he was set to evacuate himself after destroying the computers.- Fair enough, done.
This dude's not in the comic adaptation?Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:39, September 21, 2018 (UTC)
Ayrehead
You can name the dreadnought.Ayrehead02 (talk) 19:01, September 2, 2018 (UTC)- Should I add another ref for the name?
- Yeah, I'd just source it to the Visual Dictionary. Ayrehead02 (talk) 10:16, September 5, 2018 (UTC)

Context for D'Qar.Ayrehead02 (talk) 19:01, September 2, 2018 (UTC)- Done.
I feel you can expand the final paragraph slightly to summarise what happens next.Ayrehead02 (talk) 19:01, September 2, 2018 (UTC)I'm actually not sure that him being a flight officer is a contradiction to him being a captain, I'd imagine he can be both. Captain is a title while flight officer is a role. For example, Hija is both a lieutenant and a chief gunnery officer. As such could you work him being a flight officer into the body?Ayrehead02 (talk) 12:27, September 6, 2018 (UTC)
