"The Empire simply posted a pair of corvettes in orbit and let Flitter's elements take their toll", I am not quite sure what you mean. Grammar seems a little off on this particular sentence. Shouldn't it be:" The Empire simply posted a pair of corvettes in orbit and let the poison take toll", or something like that. Other wise a great article.
