Duracrete slug

  • Nominated by: Ayrehead02 (talk) 15:22, September 3, 2019 (UTC)
  • Nomination comments: I've honestly wondered for years where on earth these were meant to be in the film, only this morning did I discover that they were made purely for the Visual Guides

QGJ
  • The article is currently listed in Category:Silica parasites, but the parent article for the term Silica parasite only exists as a Legends version. Was this term used in canon material as well? If yes, then a canon version of the article needs to be created and linked to somewhere in this article. If not, then this category needs to be removed. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 10:18, September 5, 2019 (UTC)
    • I've removed the category as that term isn't used. Ayrehead02 (talk) 12:24, September 5, 2019 (UTC)
Toprawa
  • Similar to QGJ's objection, a Google search of the term "Silicavorous" seems to suggest that this term is exclusive to Star Wars, assuming someone didn't just make it up. Unless you can demonstrate this term's usage in Canon, I would recommend removing this category from the article. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 02:08, September 14, 2019 (UTC)
    • Removed. Ayrehead02 (talk) 10:21, September 14, 2019 (UTC)
  • This subject's Legends article lists the Shadows of the Empire novel as the slug's first appearance. Have you checked this? It's possible the SW.com article you're referencing is simply wrong. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 02:18, September 14, 2019 (UTC)
    • SOTE refers to "rock slugs" that live in granite walls, but I haven't seen any other sources refer to duracrete slugs as rock slugs so I haven't counted it as an appearance here. Ayrehead02 (talk) 10:21, September 14, 2019 (UTC)
      • For the record, that SOTE listing was in error. The rock slug refers to the granite slug. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 17:24, September 14, 2019 (UTC)
