"Although both games mention that the weapon was created two thousand years before the events of the game, this article uses 5,956 BBY as an approximate date for the creation of the weapon." Perhaps you should mention here that the two games took place at different times to better make this reference worth the while.501st dogma(talk) 23:28, September 24, 2013 (UTC)- Added mention.--Exiled Jedi

Both links for references 7 and 8 are dead.Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:08, October 24, 2013 (UTC)- I fixed all of the references, the KotOR references didn't have the information anymore.--Exiled Jedi

Why not incorporate the blaster's firing range into the body of the article? It does perhaps seem a little short (23 meters = 75 feet) but not so outrageous that we should just discard it as simple game mechanics, IMO.Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:41, October 28, 2013 (UTC)- Well, I based this decision off of how it was handled in one of my older status article nominations here. The numbers presented in KotOR are generally pretty far off the ranges given in other sources occurring around the same time. The fact that the weapon was released 2,000 years before kind of clouds the issue, but the weapon's range is comparable to the more modern weapons in the game. Since the numbers for these weapons vary from previously established ranges for weapons, I figured that the ranges were probably game mechanics. In any event, I figure that whatever we decide here should be applied to my previous weapon nominations.--Exiled Jedi

- This situation sounds similar, for example, to certain elements from the game Star Wars: Rebellion, such as planets' astrographical info and starship offensive specs. Basically, we take the Rebellion info at face value unless and until another source overrides it. I think I would recommend doing the same here unless you have any strong objections. 75.34.166.52 23:03, October 27, 2013 (UTC) I believe that it needs more writing flow. Also you could note who used the blaster.75.34.166.52

- No one is confirmed to use the blaster. Where does the article need better flow?--Exiled Jedi
