  • Nomination comments: Since I'm not sure there's precedent for deleted scenes being recanonized I'm happy to discuss it here. Also worth noting that I went with the deleted scene audio as the novel audio actually differs from the book itself, which is just confusing.

  • Could you upload a new version of the BTS comic panel to include the captions?
    • Good point, I originally uploaded it for use in the body but now it's illustrating dialogue this makes much more sense. Ayrehead02 (talk) 21:29, December 8, 2019 (UTC)
  • How different is the audiobook dialogue? In the case of Malakili#Finding purpose, a minor difference was worked out by adding brackets. - Cwedin(talk) 21:04, December 8, 2019 (UTC)
    • To be honest the deleted scenes dialogue is also a lot better than audiobook dialogue. The audiobook gives Almudin the voice of a very old man which sounds very strange next to images of Ramon Tikaram. I feel that if we're using the images from the deleted scene the audio is equally valid. Ayrehead02 (talk) 21:29, December 8, 2019 (UTC)

  • I'm not sure I necessarily agree with the claim that "Almudin spoke to the cadet with a tone of less than disgust." Does the source actually state this? Because I'd say he sounds quite disgusted with every part of Han Solo.
    • Weirdly "with that tone of less than disgust" is the exact wording in the novel, otherwise I wouldn't have used such a strange phrase. Ayrehead02 (talk) 18:58, January 14, 2020 (UTC)
  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're basically disregarding any dialogue from the comic adaptation that doesn't match the novel/audiobook, such as Almudin's line about lives being worth less than Imperial property (which I think would have been a good P/T detail to include otherwise). In which case I think you need note this treatment of the comic toward the end of the BTS.
