73

  • Nominated by: Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 12:08, 16 August 2025 (UTC)
  • Nomination comments: Databank implies there's at least 72 other planets owned by Sienar Fleet Systems. Wonder what a company does with that many worlds under its belt.

Objections

Sienar Rocket Systems
  • Is there a source that confirms that Sienar is a valid name of the world and not just a reference to the Sienar test facility? If so, cite that; otherwise I'd suggest removing it. RocketLaunchJr (talk) 12:30, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
    • Good point. I think I'd interpreted it that way due to many others having so but literally no source actually specifies the planet name besides Databank. Fixed it. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 23:17, 30 August 2025 (UTC)
      • Sorry to butt in here but would Luthen saying "We know Cassian got off Sienar." in episode 1 not be enough for an aka? I mean that, plus the episode 9 mention of just Sienar, plus the title card has to be enough. I think it's a disservice to remove it, frankly, as most readers would've only heard it called Sienar. • Yeah ofc the episodes, that genuinely my bad. Fixed. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 08:30, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
spookly
  • BTS-wise, its standard to specify "on the official Star Wars YouTube channel" for trailers when thats where they debuted.
  • Its also precedent to, when available, include a "by" date for when a Databank was first published. In this case, the earliest archive on Wayback for the Databank entry with the 73 ID is April 23rd, so that would look like either "published by the day after the episode" or "published by [date]".—spookywillowwtalk 23:35, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
    • Both addressed. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 20:32, 25 September 2025 (UTC)

  • Star Wars Encyclopedia of Starfighters and Other Vehicles, second edition says this 'As the Empire expanded its navy, Sienar Fleet Systems secretly began developing a new fighter at Test Facility 73, on a frigid world owned by the starship manufacturer. The result is the devastatingly lethal TIE avenger.' So I think just a minor update is needed to reflect Lewisr (talk) 17:24, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
    • How's that? Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 19:18, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
