  1. Rubedo on the FAN page?
    • "...geological events such as groundquakes and volcanic eruptions were believed to be the Skyborn acting in sympathy with their wishes that the Keshiri honor them and hate the Otherside..." The quote says it was their remnant, but that's not clear here because you say it ws the Skyborn themselves. Also, could you rephrase "in sympathy with their wishes" so it's not verbatim?
      • Fixed.
        • It's not exact, true, but it's still virtually the same thing as the quote. Rejigger further, please. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 04:31, March 28, 2012 (UTC)
    • Should there be an article on the Destructors, as that myth predated the Sith co-opting it for theirs? Possibly the Protectors too if the Sith didn't make that part up themselves. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 05:12, March 26, 2012 (UTC)
      • Eh. They're really the same thing, just a different name. Besides, the Destructors already have their own article, which I have linked to. IFYLOFD (Floyd's crib) 02:14, March 28, 2012 (UTC)
        • Whoops. Sorry I missed that. ^^' NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 04:31, March 28, 2012 (UTC)
    • Currently, the appearance section says they physically appeared all throughout the FOTJ series. Is that the case? NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 05:15, March 26, 2012 (UTC)
      • No....? My appearance section doesn't say that. IFYLOFD (Floyd's crib) 00:52, March 28, 2012 (UTC)
        • No mentioned tag means it was an appearance. The parenthetical notes stack. Unless you mean the Sith? I'd be skeptical of that as an appearance of the Skyborn since the article is basically dedicated to saying "They lied about being the Skyborn." NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 04:31, March 28, 2012 (UTC)

  • There is a lot of important information missing (and major spoilers for those who haven't read Apocalypse):
  • Apocalypse establishes Abeloth as the Destructor of Keshiri religion, and the Son and Daughter as the Protectors. Since this is the case, information about the Son and Daughter needs to be added here. In other words, the appearances in TCW and any corresponding sourcebooks of the Son and Daughter also count as appearances of the Skyborn, and thus need to be added to this article.
  • The article would benefit from a distinct naming of Abeloth as the Destructor.
  • The fact that the Skyborn were known to the Killiks as well (and that the Killiks have a long history and legend of the Skyborn, even if its under a different name, and that they were employed by the Skyborn, and that it was the Skyborn who built Centerpoint and trapped Abeloth with Sinkhole; etc.) needs to be added.
  • Vestara suggested that she and Ben were members of the Skyborn (pg. 388), as they also fought and ultimately destroyed Abeloth. The debate left on that point is: are they in fact Skyborn, since they defeated Abeloth? Or would they only count as Skyborn if they had decided to drink from the Font, which they ultimately did not do (even though Vestara did borrow its power)? This needs to be mentioned in the article (along with the fact that we can't say whether or not Ben and Ves count as Skyborn because we don't really know canonically—unless you have a convincing point one way or the other that I've overlooked).
  • All of this will require extremely major additions to the History section, as well as something like a "Members" section for the Son and Daughter (and possibly Ben and Ves, as per above)
  • It will also be worth noting the deity-like abilities of the Skyborn—you'll need to describe their powers (perhaps in a "Common abilities" section or somesuch), including the fact that the only way to kill them was with the Dagger of Mortis.
  • Regarding the Humanoid physical form: remember that the Jedi learned through the Killiks that the Protectors were capable of turning into whatever form they chose; the Skyborn appeared Humanoid to the Keshiri because the Keshiri themselves were Humanoid—but the Skyborn appeared otherwise to the Killiks. You can keep the Humanoid there as one possibility, as long as you also mention that they could change into whatever form they desired.
  • I'll give the article a full read-through once these have been satisfied. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 05:25, March 28, 2012 (UTC)
    • Fuck. I didn't expect Apocalypse to have so much crap in it. Requesting a removal from the FAN page until I can get this shit sorted out. IFYLOFD (Floyd's crib) 05:35, March 28, 2012 (UTC)
