  1. We can't forget him. A great and ambitious villain, despite being a poor shot (as many other imperials, notably the troopers). If Emperor Palpatine survived him, thanks to Wicket. -- Delmar Nori 21:13, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

  3. Inqvote For some reason, this reminds me of a particularly egregious user page from long ago. It's about as ridiculous a topic. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 13:52, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Oppose

  • There seems to be a contradiction: the introduction says "he was taken to the Endor system by Admiral Kazz, at Emperor Palpatine's behest", implying that he was sent on the mission by the Emperor. In the bio, it says that the mission was Raygar's idea. I think it's the latter. —Silly Dan (talk) 13:48, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
    • The introduction is now correct. -- Delmar Nori 15:47, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
      • Please do not strike other users' comments, Delmarnori. It is up to them to check the changes and strike themselves. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 16:28, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
        • Sorry! -- Delmar Nori 20:22, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
          • Since Palpatine "approved" Raygar's mission, it appears it was Raygar's idea in the first place. The article reflects this, so I strike my objection. —Silly Dan (talk) 01:41, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
  1. From the desk of Atarumaster88
    • Okay, as much as I wince about this, you'll need to make an article for that silly cannon and link to it. I'm sure you can come up with a creative but appropriate title. ;-)
      • Bah. OK, done.
    • "As a result, the Sunstar fell to a platform, from which Raygar retrieved the gem." What platform? Context please.
      • Per Delmarnori, it's a sort of walkway. Fixed.
    • "The shot only clipped Palpatine's craft, however, effectively thwarting Raygar's hope of a successful coup." This could do with a bit more explanation-one shuttle shouldn't be able to attack an ISD and I'm rather confused about the whole affair.
      • Ah, yes. Added a little bit of context there and earlier in the piece too...should be clearer, if not, give us a yell. Thefourdotelipsis 02:52, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
        • Well, I'm sort of curious. Does Palpatine board the Star Destroyer and send his own guards, or does he ring up Kazz and ask him what's going on? It'd be good to know, if, of course, the information is available. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 13:57, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
          • I'm afraid that's not made clear in the source. Thefourdotelipsis 00:23, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
            • There's no source about if Palpatine rang up Kazz asking about the attempt, before seeing Raygar himself. But the episode Battle for the Sunstar shows Kazz inviting his own guards to arrest the one who was shooting against the Emperor. -- Delmar Nori 02:01, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
    • Wow. This is an incredibly silly topic. Have a Super Terrific Friendly Un-frustrating day while I go regenerate the neurons I damaged reading this. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 15:52, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
    • About the place where the Sunstar fell on, that was another walkway, not a platform. We know, the Bright Tree Village had many walkways and huts on differents levels. The article was changed. -- Delmar Nori 22:24, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Comments

  • The only quasi-concern I have is that we put the title of the episode in parentheses as a practice, including the title of the episode's article itself. It would seem this should be italicized instead. Toprawa and Ralltiir 01:13, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Two more comments from me:
  1. I've changed "Raygar was a doctor affiliated with the Galactic Empire" to "Doctor Raygar was a scientist affiliated with the Galactic Empire": he's never called a scientist, but he clearly does science-y things, and the only people who are ordinarily referred to as "doctors" without qualification are physicians and Time Lords.
    • But how do we know his was unqualified? Thefourdotelipsis 01:56, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
      • No, that's not what I meant to say. I mean that just calling him a "doctor" implies that he's a medical doctor. People with doctorates in other fields may be addressed as "Doctor", but if you say someone is "a doctor" without further qualifying that statement (by, for example, saying they have a PhD in Ewok studies or something), it's assumed that someone is an MD. —Silly Dan (talk) 02:06, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
  2. There's no "Skills and abilities" section: it might be useful to mention, as I did in a previous version of the article, that he displayed some knowledge of weapons engineering, understood Ewokese, and was familliar with Endorian mythology. —Silly Dan (talk) 01:41, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
