  • Copyedit is here for review
    • Thank you! Remembering all the more minor things to link has always been a weak spot of mine, lol. - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 08:50, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
      • No worries, it took me a long time to assemble the repertoire that I have for linking things. It'll keep building as you continue to get back into it all. Wok142 (talk) 19:48, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
  • I think it'd be good to have the Tarkintown name backstory in the Description section. You wouldn't necessarily have to go into the whole bit about Clarr recommending it and why, but mentioning that it was called Tarkintown because he was responsible for xyz would be nice to have there, rather than just mentioning the name Tarkintown and not explaining it until a bit later.
    • Great idea. I've added a concise but hopefully informative enough mention of it. - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 08:50, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
      • If I may suggest, I think it would be even better if worked into the beginning of the Description. So it could be something along the lines of this: " Lothal re-settlement camp 43 was a makeshift settlement on the Outer Rim planet Lothal. Established during the Imperial Era, the camp housed displaced Lothalites who had been forcibly removed from their farmlands on the orders of Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin in order to make way for Imperial mining operations. Derisively known as Tarkintown due to the man responsible, the settlement was composed of crude, temporary structures clustered together on the open plains, forming a dense and haphazard community." Please feel free to reword/tweak as you see fit but this is just my idea of how to work it in. Wok142 (talk) 19:48, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
        • I think that's great. I've added that, and it gave me an opportunity to work in the word slum (I added one to the history section too). - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 04:31, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
          • Woohoo! Wok142 (talk) 04:18, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
  • Beaumont Kin's pronouns aren't citable to that book, I've seen others use Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary. Wok142 (talk) 03:40, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
    • Fixed! - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 08:50, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
  • Very minor but, since Ezra calls it a slum and the "Tarkintown and Hoovervilles" article also refers to it as a slum, I think using that diction, either as a noun or as "slum-like conditions"/something adjacent would be good - slum feels like significant categorization/description for it that should be included. Wok142 (talk) 20:09, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
    • Added two instances! - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 04:31, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
  • BMF 25 has these details that can be added - "Forced to live a hand-to-mouth existence, these farmers had little chance of ever escaping the settlement." The hand-to-mouth existence detail feels significant, and the mention of escape as well.
    • Great catch. Added! - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 03:21, 8 April 2025 (UTC)
  • The destruction of Tarkintown falls under the events of the Siege of Lothal, so linking that somewhere would be good. Wok142 (talk) 18:33, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
    • I'm surprised I never added that. Done! - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 03:21, 8 April 2025 (UTC)
  • Sorry this review has been so segmented, but one more thing. Given the wide shot of the settlement, I think you could get a pretty good estimate for the number of containers. So in the Description you could say like "over thirty" or whatever it happens to be. Wok142 (talk) 17:47, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
    • Excellent idea. I counted over forty that were clearly structures, and a handful that could really be anything, so I said "over forty" which should cover it. I also added in how there are five moisture vaporators in total, in addition to the central one. - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 23:46, 15 April 2025 (UTC)
    • And here are the changes based on the info from Nexus of Power that you sent me on Discord. Thank you for those as well! - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 00:00, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
  • Is the first picture in the concept art gallery actually of Tarkintown? The referenced source says it is of the Capital City marketplace. Wok142 (talk) 23:45, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
    • Hmm, I could've sworn it said Tarkintown on SW.com when I looked. Let me see if I can track this down. If not, I'll remove it. Just to make sure I have it down what that will entail: there will only be one concept art image left, so I'll remove the gallery template and move The Siege of Lothal concept art into the BTS, where I'll then remove the IRL picture of a Hooverville. - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 01:06, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
      • Yep that's a good plan. Wok142 (talk) 18:28, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
        • Alright, OOM came to the rescue on this one! The Rebels FB page has it listed, from 2014, as concept art for Tarkintown, so I've sourced the concept art to that and, per OOM's suggestion, added a note that the Episode Guide now erroneously lists that art as the Capital City marketplace (which it clearly is not). - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 12:29, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
          • Ah nice! Looks good. Wok142 (talk) 04:46, 12 May 2025 (UTC)

  • Seems like Sabine's journal has a usable 4 BBY IU date to add per its Wook page.
    • Added! - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 12:06, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
  • Though whether they're presented in a concept gallery is optional, prosifying that concept art exists and was released is still required as BTS prose.
    • What's a good example of how to do that? The concept art comes from two different sources, so I want to make sure I'm not adding fluff to the BTS by referencing "there was concept art for this and it was in this source, and concept art for that and it was in that source." - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 12:06, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
      • Generally, it would look something like "Two pieces of concept art for Tarkintown were created, released on the official Star Wars Rebels Facebook and StarWars.com, respectively."—just a one-liner in this case. A good number of Star Wars Resistance FANs will have this in its prose, as do a handful of the recent Visions ones.—spookywillowwtalk 19:46, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
      • Actually, I think I have a version that works - live on the page now. - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 12:29, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
        • That looks good - smallest thing, but are we at all able to find out what the date of that panel was? Generally Celebration stuff in BTS's tends to include the exact date, or if we don't know, it'll go on to specify that it was held between such and such dates.—spookywillowwtalk 18:52, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
          • Added! - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 00:21, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
  • Most of the time, the specific pieces of a episode guide should be used in references (story gallery, trivia gallery, or whatever other piece) rather than refering the EG as a whole. Then, {{C}} gets used to denote the slide number. Would apply for ref 28.—spookywillowwtalk 18:43, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
    • Added. The other use of the Episode Guide will be taken care of by a change I'm making to the concept art gallery, re: Wok's section. - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 12:06, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
Chip
  • While going through "Ezra Bridger and Other Users of the Force," there are multiple mentions of Tarkintown. However, the only new informative line was: "While visiting his (Lando Calrissian) farm, Ezra discovered that the Imperial authorities had destroyed Tarkin City as punishment for accepting rebel help." So, at least a redirect from "Tarkin City" should be created. Chipchip88 (talk) 19:09, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
    • Added a redirect, and two mentions of Tarkin City in the article (once in the intro, once in Description). Thank you! - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 11:54, 9 May 2025 (UTC)

  • The identification as Tarkin City from "Ezra Bridger and Other Users of the Force" should be noted in the BTS Lewisr (talk) 04:35, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

  • Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Updated and Expanded and Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition should be checked to see if the camp is mentioned, since it's mentioned in the original versions of the two Lewisr (talk) 00:23, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
    • Added. There was no new info, so I just added the sources to the list. - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 15:24, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
  • The cite for 'The name "Hooverville" was applied as a reference to Herbert Hoover' doesn't seem to actually mention this, was it in an earlier version or should it be something else? Lewisr (talk) 00:23, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
    • Somehow the citations got all screwed up, not sure what happened there, so I've fixed those. - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 15:24, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
  • Context for Star Wars Rebels: The Siege of Lothal is needed Lewisr (talk) 00:23, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
