- From the Prison Cell of Chack Jadson:
"A force cage was a device that was designed for and used to contain prisoners, the first examples of which were first seen some time prior to 3,956 BBY during the Jedi Civil War." Reword to avoid using first twice.- Done.
Who is Batu Rem? Context.- Added small blurb about him working for the Exchange.

Consider doing a "See also" for similar restraining systems, like whatever it was Dooku used on Obi-Wan in AotC.- The last two sentences of "Description" and "History" are way too similar.
Expansion: I could swear there are other instances in which force fields have been used to restrain people. I can't name the sources offhand, but I think that this should be mentioned. I'll try to find a few instances of this.—Xwing328(Talk) 05:00, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thingy:
Is using "the first force cages" really accurate? For all we know, they could've been used for thousands of years before the Jedi Civil War, and changed considerably. Is the term "torture field" actually used by any of the characters in Kotor, or is it your own invention? If it's the latter, please remove.Kotor II stuff should come after the Kotor I stuff in the history section."or for any number of other reasons" is unneeded, IMHO.The era template and infobox field both state the cage's use in the New Republic era, but the article article only mentions the Imperial era, which apparently ends in 4 ABY. Please clarify there use during the New Republic's time in the history section, or remove it if it's not stated. Not an objection per se, but a BtS mention of other similar devices which haven't been named as "force cages" might be prudent.- Good article, boring concept. :-P -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 13:21, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- From the Merciless Hammer of Toprawa:
These descriptions sentences should be under the "Descr." section, not "History.": "Typical force cages included plenty of room for a detainee to either stand or sit; some force cages, such as the ones in the Telosian Jedi Academy that had been converted from water regulation pipes, were large enough for a grown Human to sleep in."Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:52, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
