First look

First, a comment: Some of the Inqs have some objections to the very idea of letting people nominate others' work, but my view on the matter has softened somewhat and I'm arguing in favor of letting this go on, but I will not hesitate to join a removal vote if it appears that you can't handle this. So, on with my opening objections based on a quick skim of the article.

  • Intro: Firefox, Wiktionary, and dictionary.com say "warfaring" is not a word. I would suggest a replacement that fits the context, such as "bellicose," "militant," or some such, but it's up to you. This is also used at least once in the body.
  • You're two redlinks over the limit: containment line, emergency decompression helmet, navigation string, prophet, and resort satellite

  • Did you go through the entire article and check for things like linking, correct template usage, context, etc? A quick glance reveals some uses of {{Dialogue}} that should be {{Quote}} (anything with two speakers, regardless of the number of lines). The quotes leading off "Insertion onto the Baanu Rass," "Attack on the Solos," and "The Battle of Tenupe" are just three examples.

  • Can you use {{WebCite}} for the external links? It's especially useful for forum posts, as it pinpoints the post's author, date, and time.
  • Some of the objections from last time are still valid. Alpha Red, for example, is unlinked and not given context, which Floyd pointed out to Harrar in 2009. You really should read through every single one of Floyd's old objections and address any that still need addressing. Menkooroo 12:22, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

  • After the failing of the first nomination, there's been quite numerous edits. The previous nomination does have some obsolete, some addressed, but apparently some still valid objections.
