  • I'm not a fan of the opening one-sentence paragraph. I think it would be better to merge it with the second.
  • No date for when the story was told?
  • Everything after "and an Agbui named Haplif" seems irrelevant to this character. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 04:43, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Addressed all of those. — YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 06:12, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
  • The conversation about how interesting Yokado is needs to be documented. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 19:36, 21 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Done. — YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 20:43, 21 October 2021 (UTC)
      • I'm confused by this: "which the Agbui clarified" -- what does that mean? JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 22:40, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
        • Better now? -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 23:04, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
          • Yeah. Is there more of the quote you can include? JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 23:07, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
            • “Not Yokado,” Haplif corrected, offering Yomie a refill. She shook her head, as he’d expected her to. “This Councilor Lakuviv. I don’t suppose you know him personally?” “Me? Oh, no. Not at all.” Yoponek shook his head, as if his words hadn’t made it clear enough. “I’ve barely even heard his name. What makes you think he’s interesting?” Then Haplif makes some stuff up about a fiery spirit and such people being priceless, but it’s really about Lakuviv from there. — YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 23:21, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
              • Yeah, from "Not Yokado" to "Lakuviv" would be good to add to the article's quote. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 23:27, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
                • done — YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 00:02, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
  • Context for Yoponek should be established upon his first mention. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 15:02, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Done — YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 20:14, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
      • Now saying "According to a story" just by itself implies that we should be suspect of the validity of the story. Is that the case? If not, I think that bit can just be dropped. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 20:19, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
        • That is not the case, so I removed it. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 22:38, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
  • Just wondering, what have you removed and replaced with the ellipsis? JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 15:03, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Just "I don't think so." Would you prefer I add it? -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 15:09, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
    • ^ done. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 15:10, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
OOM
  • Is "P" in "Patriarch" supposed to be capitalised when used independently? "Admiral" isn't capitalised when referring to "an admiral," for example. Same for "Councilor."
    • Patriarch and Councilor are always capitalized in the source. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 22:52, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
  • Same also for the "F" in "Forty Great Families," since that makes the phrase a proper compound noun, but only "Great Families" is linked to the article of the same name.
    • That's the usage in the novel. F is capitalized. (In my opinion, the page should be moved to Forty Great Families anyway.) In fact, sometimes just "the Forty" is used. -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 22:52, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
  • Category:Patriarchs of the Chiss Ascendancy can be sorted in Category:Male, which can then be removed from this article. OOM 224 22:16, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
    • No, it can't. Mitth'omo'rossodo was a female Patriarch. (Yeah, yeah; I know.) -- YakovChaimTzvi (he/him/his) ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol (talk) 22:52, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
