Why are we still writing about this? The [expletive deleted] CAN page is tearing itself apart, and we're writing about a snot-nosed University student and a whining Rodian. Menkooroo 14:06, July 8, 2011 (UTC)
- Nice Menk. Very Nice! :) Cal Jedi

- You have taken on the challenge!
Unfortunately, you can't copy and paste others' work. You'll need to write your own bts.- OK rewrote it.
You should probably rewrite the parts of the bio that you kept from the previous version of the article, too. It's always better to write the article yourself, and what was there before was missing some context to boot. Just what the "crisis" is should be established.- How's that?
The "customary to his species" line will have to be sourced to something else, like an Essential Guide or something. Alternatively, you could leave it out. Either way is OK.- Fixed.
He seems an aggressive lad. Could you mention that he swore at the journalist?- I added in that he swore, but I didn't mention that he swore at the journalist per se. He more swore at the Republic.
I think you're right about this character being male, but could you throw in a source similar to the one here? I think the duck test is generally a Human thing, so some sort of added clarification might be good.Menkooroo 16:12, July 7, 2011 (UTC)- Fixed. Cal Jedi

- For great justice
What exactly is the difference between males and female that you observe in the NEGAS? While it is more common in females, males may have hair as well and many females choose to shave their heads to hide their femininity according to the same source. I believe females may also grow spines atop their heads.- I can't find anything beyond that, if you're sure that the females can grow head spines. Cal Jedi

- I'll see if Borders has the NEGAS and check it. May take some time though. NaruHina Talk

- I'll see if I can find some source also. So, I guess it's up to whoever can find it first. Cal Jedi

- Never mind. Savage says to leave it out. See below. Cal Jedi

What's the source that Corroney illustrated the picture? It's not on the article page itself.NaruHina Talk

- Hmmm, I thought that I saw that somewhere. I guess not. Cal Jedi

- Oh good. That would have meant that I'd have to go over a lot of articles. NaruHina Talk

- Joe Corroney did illustrate it, as can be seen here:

For a Rodian with no visible breasts, I'm not sure we can claim one gender or another unless the source explicitly states one. Lots of older material (pre-special edition) showed males and females as essentially identical. ~Savage
16:43, July 15, 2011 (UTC)- So are you saying that we should just leave the gender part out? Cal Jedi
(Personal Comm Channel) 20:28, July 15, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I think from the illustration, it's inconclusive this is a male. ~Savage
