     • That's a run-on sentence; ergo, it's grammatically incorrect. You explain what the Jedi Covenant is with the first apositive ("a secret organization...") and within that aside you explain what the Sith is with another apositive ("an order of dark side users...") Basically, it looks like this: "[[Jedi Covenant, a secret organization that existed to predict and prevent the return of [the Sith]], an order of dark side users,] following..." and that overlap shouldn't happen.
