  • How do we know for sure that the twin suns are depicted? The other prequel posters use similarly vague light sources. Commander Code-8 Hello There! 10:25, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Eh, it seems the most obvious conclusion, since a large part of TPM is set on Tatooine. Tatooine is also a major setting in AOTC, for which is the other poster that has a similar twin sun image, aside from the ANH Special Edition poster. Then again, I suppose it comes down to subjective interpretation. Removed. OOM 224 22:17, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

  • Should note the Nubian is angled towards the outside of the painting Manoof (he/him/his) (talk) 03:41, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
    • I don't think that's really significant a detail to mention though, much like how I've opted not to state which directions the characters were looking at. OOM 224 06:44, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
      • I think it matters a bit more than where a character is looking, but not enough to climb up a hill to die on lol Manoof (he/him/his) (talk) 09:19, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
  • Is noting Jar Jar as an outcast is breaching WP:NPOV, since he wasn't an outcast for the entirety of the film (as justifiable as it is)? Manoof (he/him/his) (talk) 03:41, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Eh, I put that down since he was an exile from Gungan society for much of the film. It feels weird to only mention Jar Jar's species and not anyone else's, but I'm open to other suggestions. OOM 224 06:44, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
      • Since you already mention his species, can we just say "the gungan Jar Jar"? Manoof (he/him/his) (talk) 09:19, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
        • I suppose that still works. Done. OOM 224 10:58, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
  • Context for buddy token Manoof (he/him/his) (talk) 03:41, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
    • I didn't want to get too far into the mechanics of the game, but I've added a little bit of context. OOM 224 06:44, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
      • That's perfect, thanks! Manoof (he/him/his) (talk) 09:19, 27 March 2022 (UTC)

Comments

  • Notes:
    • I've opted not to mention the GCW in relation to the Battle of Yavin, against precedence, since I believe all the article has to do here in mentioning the battle is to establish a timeframe.
    • I used a double ref to cover the entirety of the second paragraph since going back and forth between SWG and TPM would be very unfeasible for an article like this.
    • I was very selective with the descriptions for the various characters. For example, I figured "portraits"/"figure" would suffice for Gui-Gon and Padmé, since there's not much to be said about their expressions (at least objectively) and the directions of their gaze isn't relevant to the composition. I did, however, point out the specific clothing Padmé was wearing, since her outfit changes virtually every time she appears (hence dedicated wardrobe articles). Of course, there's a lot more action going on with Obi-Wan, and I had to mention that smile of Jar Jar's. OOM 224 17:38, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Also, all the juicy BTS details for the OOU theatrical poster isn't relevant to this particular IU subject, so I've left most of them out. They belong on the Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace and Drew Struzan articles instead. OOM 224 17:43, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
