It is my understanding that Umu and Umu Seven share the name, but Umu is a separate individual. If that's the case, Umu shouldn't be linked.- Umu Seven is named after Umu, so that's why it's linked.

- Did the Creed fall after the Battle of the Tower? If not, why was Namir fighting in the battle between the GE and the RA?
- Not sure what you mean here. The fall of the Creed and its cloister is placed chronologically before the article gets into the battle, and then the ruins are mentioned in the sentence stemming from the battle. As for Namir's fight with the GE, that's arguably not much relevant to Templemarch as that stuff happened at the transmitter tower.
