Kinda minor, but as the information in TTT sourcebook was just reprinted from the DFR sourcebook, wouldn't it be more appropriate to use the DFR sourcebook as your source, rather than TTT sourcebook?Menkooroo 17:00, July 21, 2010 (UTC)- Cav
- Is there anything to suggest that the Sluis Van space facility isn't just another name for the Sluis Van shipyards? I would suggest checking other sources concerning the shipyards just to make sure. The fact that they are described as "extensive" in the sourcebook leads me to believe that they could be one and the same. - Cavalier One

- I'm going to echo Cav's sentiment here—particularly considering that the primary source for this is Thrawn Trilogy material, where the Sluis Van shipyards were introduced. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 20:49, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
- The space facility was introduced in the DFR Sourcebook, which didn't deal with the shipyards at all because they weren't relative to the book. The TT Sourcebook does use the Battle at the Shipyards as it's time quantifier for the character entrys and time period but the Slussi section makes no reference to the battle at all. In fact, it refers to there not just being one catch-all shipyard in the sector, but several, with the facility referred to as a singular entity. "An advanced people, they established a number of major space yards throughout the Sluis Sector, including the extensive Sluis Van space facility." NaruHina Talk

- However, one of the opening chapters of DFR has Luke trying to get his X-wing repaired to fly back to Coruscant. He is on the Sluis Van Central space station, in the Sluis system. I think you may need to check over the information presented in the novel; the Sluis Van shipyards are present in DFR, and with the words "Sluis Van" in the name, then it is more than likely that the facility is within the Sluis Van system, despite the fact that the Sluissi established space yards throughout the sector. - Cavalier One
