Although it's not technically incorrect to use "had had", it reads like a typo. Could you revise that sentence to avoid having had had?Immi Thrax

- Like you said, it's not incorrect, and I can't really think of a better way to word it. Was there something you had in mind? JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 16:35, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
- Perhaps: "One winter on the Forest Moon of Endor, the Ewok Teebo used a scrap of the bread to clean up the ground-apple stock that had been in his bowl." ? Immi Thrax

- To be honest, I don't love the wording "that had been in his bowl." I personally don't see it as a big deal to use "had had" here. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 16:54, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
- The problem is that it can be taken as a mistake with our past tense style. Did he formerly have stock in his bowl (had had) or did he have it (had, with a typo extra had)? I don't know which one is correct, so the suggestion was based on the former interpretation. Immi Thrax

- Ah I think I see your point now. How's that? JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 20:58, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

I don't see a need to mention "more garlic" unless it's referring to garlic that doesn't come in powder formOOM 224 18:36, 20 November 2021 (UTC)- Fixed. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 16:22, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
