- To be honest, I don't love the wording "that had been in his bowl." I personally don't see it as a big deal to use "had had" here. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 16:54, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
- The problem is that it can be taken as a mistake with our past tense style. Did he formerly have stock in his bowl (had had) or did he have it (had, with a typo extra had)?
